Why dont you see of another YT member in your area has a friend that is looking for a yorkie that has no dog. How old is your older yorkie and how old is the new one? |

If you lived closer, I'd come and get him myself! Anything to keep him out of the pound! |
I'm having the same problems with my labs, we have four and they were doing really great but then I went to work and since I don't have the time they stay in their fenced in area, they are agresive to everyone but us, I want to find a home for them but there is no way that they would even let someone get near them, they are so sweet to us but anyone who does not live here they are not very nice at all. I've tried the rescues but they will not take them because of the agression. It's not fair to them to be locked up in the area they need to be trained and running and playing but I have no time anymore. |
alright, I'll check out the rescues first, thanks :) I'll keep you posted |

If I had one or even two labs I would have the time but we have 4 that my husband wanted to keep. We used to rescue labs but that was before I was working and before my second son. I would love to be able to give them the life that a lab needs but I\'m only one person. |
How old is the dog?? |
Can you give us more information on the dog you need to rehome? age? size? type of dog? I am sure someone on YT would be willing to help you in placing your little one or even be willing to adopt him. But please don\'t take him to the pound. I am sure that if someone is willing to put in the time and energy he can be saved. |
I also want to know how old he is. If he isn\'t that old and he\'s biting it\'ll probably pass especially if he hasn\'t gotten all his teeth yet or whatever. Lilly bites us on our hands and toes and has drew blood on our hands before but just little nicks where we tried pulling away. She\'s only 3 months though and hasn\'t gotten all her teeth and many people have told us she\'d stop. Plus, I plan on taking her to classes where they can hopefully make her quit but I really just think it\'s because of her age. I just don\'t see how this can\'t be put under control or to a stop instead of getting rid of her and even so to a pound or something.. :( I, personally, could never imagine doing such a thing. |
I am so sorry to hear about your situation, maybe someone on here can take him. |
Many rescues will take in small dogs that have been aggressive. My pom is 10 1.2 years old and has bitten me several times, true it hurt a little but I could never give her up. SHe has done wonderful with my 2 yorkies. Please try the rescues provided above. |
Yes, PLEASE PLEASE don\'t take this poor baby to the pound...I\'m sure there are tons of us here, myself included, who will HELP you find a rescue to take him or a home for him. How old is he? It may be aggression over your other Yorkie and if placed in a single Yorkie home he would do great. I had to rehome a male yorkie once...he had been raised in a place where he didn\'t get much attention, and he would tear up my entire house anytime he was let out even for a second. I tried training him in many ways, but to no avail...but I kept him up until he began attacking Maddie unprovoked and drawing blood. I just couldn\'t let him hurt her like that, because she wasn\'t doing anything but surrenduring and letting him attack her. SO I spent countless hours looking for the right home to give him to...and when I finally found a young couple I knew they were perfect for him, and I let them take him for a trial period, stating that at any point I would take him back and continue searching for the right place for him. Well, it was like a MIRACLE...he was so well behaved and they fell in love with him. I cried for days, but kept checking on him, and eventually realized that a single dog home is what he NEEDED. I still keep in touch and they know that I will take him back at ANY time if he becomes too much and I will do whatever needed to get him another great home. I asked her UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES to take him to the pound!! Some dogs just need attention as the ONLY dog. Please talk to some of the wonderful people here if you feel overwhelmed and need help looking for the right place for him...just please take all our advice and do the right thing for your baby. Dogs only react to what they know and what they feel... |
