This is possibly the best thing that could have happened concerning me finding an AKC yorkie female puppy! I've been pretty stressed about it, trying to find one who would be ready around January. What I REALLY wanted was one of Ryder's half sisters, but I was given LOTS of advice NOT to breed that closely, so I decided not to. HOWEVER, the same breeder (where I got Sophie as well), who I just LOVE to death...has decided to downsize a little and sell a couple of her adult females whom she was going to breed, or has only bred once. She's advertising them as pets ONLY with a spay/neuter contract, but she explained to me that she trusts me and asked if I would like to take a couple on full registration around January!!! I immediately said YES because ALL her dogs are SO beautiful...I've seen them several times and have had so many wonderful visits and phone conversations with this lady. And these females aren't related to Ryder or Sophie directly, they were bought from the same breeder as their parents (a friend of hers who has been doing it forever and is VERY reputable as well) but are from a different champion line. Isn't it just SO wonderful when you find a breeder you know you can trust, and they trust you, who takes care of the babies so well, and has GORGEOUS dogs? You just breathe a sigh of RELIEF...not that there aren't SEVERAL wonderful breeders out there, but sometimes they're just so darn hard to find! I am SOO soo SOO happy and excited about this, I feel like the situation couldn't have worked out more perfectly!! AND I'm also happy because this means...TWO more Yorkie babies are being added to the family!!! YAAAYYY!!! Last edited by EmrldShdwQueen; 10-14-2007 at 02:58 PM.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I think they're all gorgeous too!! I KNOW how hard to find they are, and I am just so elated!! I don't know how I got this lucky...but she IS right about trusting me...my babies are all so important to me and I would never sell my pups to anyone I felt wouldn't feel the same!

Yes, I agree, her name is Flower...I've seen her in person and she's got beautiful silky hair. Her mommy is really pretty too. I doubt she'll sell me that one though...that's one of her faves (and I can see why)!

They are just beautiful! Congratulations! Are you in Boone, North Carolina? I'm in Raleigh. I'm not ready to get a Yorkie yet, but would love to know the names of good Yorkie breeders in the area for when the time is right.
