| He will do perfectly! I gave Esme her free roaming privledges at 6 months. At first I would come home really skeptical... I would investigate everything and I still wasn't convinced when I didn't find anything wrong. But now, I am really confident in her. I just close all the doors, so she has the living, dining, kitchen and hallway. We have a small house so it's not tooooo much space.

| You can do it, Toby! Just close your eyes when you see toilet paper, shoes and wooden chair legs. |

| Grade REport on toby: A+ There was NOTHING out of place, the hosue was pristine, he doesnt chew so i wasnt worried about that..... we lean a flimsy babygate up against the bathroom door so toby cant get "litter box crunchies" and that wasnt even knocked over or disturbed at all, i am very happy with him, he got a treat when i got home |

| I've been trying to let Rowdy roam in the rest of the house this week (while I'm here). He's been confined to the den and my office both with concrete floors for the past four months (he's 6 months old). We have a doggie door and he's been using it for over a month now with NO accidents. So this week, I decided to let him go into the rest of the house: kitchen, living room, one bedroom. I've come to the conclusion that he doesn't realize he is not supposed to potty in THAT part of the house because I'm finding a potty spot every day and I'm not letting him in that part of the house all the time. I guess we'll have to work on the part where you potty OUTSIDE, not through the other door (into the rest of the house). I think if I can catch him pottying in the kitchen, living room, etc and let him know that is not acceptable, he will get the picture pretty quick. In the meantime....... |
