Go get the poor pup back. Who knows what the lady is doing to him. She sounds like trouble. Give her her $600 and be done with her. |
This woman sounds like BAD NEWS.:thumbdown I would call her or email her (and keep records) that you want to refund her money and she is to bring your dog back! I have a feeling she may not want to do that if she's sue happy....But as long as you offered she really doesn't have a leg to stand on if you go to court. But for that poor puppys sake I would really try to get him to a better home, obviously his best interest is not in her heart. Im sure someone on YT would love to give that baby a home!:) |
Get the dog back and give her the money back.. I would be worried for him.. Find him a better home maybe someone from YT? |
I agree with everyone that you should get your dog back and give her back some of her money. Not for her, but for the dog. Don't stress too much over this, you did nothing wrong! She's the scammer, it sounds like a perfectly nice puppy for $600. Good luck with however you decide to handle it!:) |
I strongly suspect that the threat of a suit is yet another part of the scam. Please arrange for a large male to be present at the time of the exchange (pup for $). You want a witness and you want to make sure she does not try to pull something funny. Also make the exchange in a public place, in daylight. If it were not for the welfare of the pup, I would tell her where to go with her threats. |

If she takes you to small claims court and they find in her favor, then all she is intitled to is her $600 plus court costs and she will be ordered to return the dog. I think that her intentions are to get you to send her the money claiming that she will return the dog when she gets the money and then you will never hear from her again. Definately get the dog back from her if she even still has it and give her the money.. If I had a bad feeling about her while she was in my home, I would have told her that she was giving me an uneasy feeling by all her comments and that I prefer not to sell her the dog. A woman should ALWAYS trust her gut..I know mine has never lied to me.. anyways, there is nothing that you can do about it now but I would definately say lesson learned and get that poor little guy back..Let us know what happened... |
I agree with the others. If she signed off on the paper that states shes buying the dog as is, then she has no case, she can still take you to court but I really doubt that she would waste money for couet fees when she signed the paper. I would give her the money back and find a good home on YT for the pup. |
I would give her a refund and get the little guy back and find him a new home, simple as that. |

If she is scamming you, she will not be happy just getting her money back, that doesn't give her a profit. She probably will not want to go to court either, it doesn't sound like she has much of a case. I would be afraid she was planning on robbing you or something. Be very careful, this can be a wierd world. |

This person is bad news and after you refund her (which you should) to avoid future problems, let her have it as you're handing her the money. lol. Let her know you realized what type of person she was and wish her well as she will have bad luck in the future. Tell her to read up on silkies and yorkies, they never go for $50 from a reputable seller. She was on something when she asked all those questions. Tell her to provide the statement from the vet that the dog has problems so you can get a 2nd opinion and let the next buyer know of any issues. I'll bet she can't but scammers usually get the neccessary paperwork needed to keep lawsuits and scams going. Good luck with this cuz God don't like ugly ways of people and wrong doers so this should all work out for you but not for her. |
You probably scared her w/the "as is" etc. That would have made me nervous too. You can ask her if she wants to give it a couple weeks & then you will refund if it still isnt working out, tell her he needs time to adjust or just take him back now. |
I would refund her money and take the poor baby back. She's clearly "sue happy", but I'm sure if you just refund her all will be taken care of. |
