| Running away from me Beagan runs away from me when I try to pick him up? I haven't hurt him or really scolded him at all? Why is this? And is there a way I can prevent this from happening?

| I've had gracie for a little over a month and she still runs away or flattens herself out like i'm gonna hurt her. She's getting better, I lay on the floor alot and let her come to me and treats work well as bribery too

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie does that too. I didn't get her until he was 13 months old and she wasn't use to a lot of things. Cali I trained from day one by saying Mommy pick you up and she leasrned to turn around and let me pick her up and doesn't run away.

| Ollie who is 7 months has always done that too. I always have to do a sneek attack pick up from behind!!! He is always so busy - he just doesnt seem to ever want to be interrupted. He is not very snuggly either but follows me everywhere and always sits on my lap or across my feet or near me - but as soon as i start kissing and hugging he squirms away. He likes it on HIS terms--- i wonder if it is a BOY thing---???? |
