The meetup this afternoon was SO much fun! We had a few YT members, and a great turn out from members from our community! We hope they'll soon become members too-many of them seemed interested in joining the site, so hopefully we'll have some new Iowa YT Addicts! In all, we had 17 people and 14 yorkies! What a GREAT first meetup!

The day was beautiful-so sunny and warm, and all the yorkies seemed to be in great moods. Everyone got along well, and they played hard! I'm sure everyone's home and sleeping now-Emma and Milli are both flat out sleeping!

My absolute fav pic is #6 with all the furBUTTS waiting for those TREATS!!!!!

Thanks for taking all of those pictures - they're soo much fun to look at. BTW where in Iowa were you guys? We lived in Council Bluffs for 13 years, hubby grew up in Griswald and was born in Des Moines.

I know, we were saying it was so cool how they are all yorkies, but they each have different faces, hair, and personalities! I love it!

We had the meetup in Des Moines-many of us live here, and we figured it is the most central location in the state, since we had a couple members from the quad cities, northern Iowa, as well as CB that wanted to join us (they ended up not being able to make it, but maybe next time!) We did have one YT member from Lincoln, Nebraska (MissSophie) join us! It was great!

I'm going to post some pix -- as soon as I get it all figured out -- yeah, yeah I hit 500 posts this week, but I've never posted a pix on yt -lol.

We had 13 yorkies join us - I didn't count the people! But one couple came because they had heard about our meetup & they are interested in getting a yorkie!

We had a great time. Suzy fixed food. It was too hot to eat, we just talked. But Bubba & Roxie were exclaiming over the wonderful homemade pupy treats Suzy made -- they are sending love to Miss Suzy

It was like 88 degrees here -- very unusual for Des Moines at the beginning of Oct.

Great

fun was had by all!!

OMG, how fun that must have been! Wish I could have been there. After seeing all of your pictures, I KNOW we Nebraskans need to have a meet-up too. I was a guest at the Yorkshire Terrier Club of Greater Kansas City Specialty Show a couple of years ago, and being amidst all of those beautiful little Yorkie show dogs....felt like I was in heaven! I love this breed like you wouldn't believe; or maybe you would. Isn't that why we're all here!
Can't wait to see even MORE pictures of your fun day!
