Peppy Has Been Found First of all Cindy wanted me to tell everyone thank you for all your prayers, they found him, and she also told me to tell you guys what happen... they were grilling on the porch and the grill caught on fire, then the porch was on fire, they open the doors to get all the dogs out, and by that time when they where calling the fire dept, Cindy got home, so she was running around to get all the dogs up and out of the house, putting them in cars, trailers, vans, and trying to get valuables out of the house...when fire dept got there the contained it to the porch, and the house was safe, some smoke but thats all, when everything settled down, they went and got all the dogs, and Peppy was missing..Cindy forgot she put him in the trailer, but when she went to get them he was hiding and wouldn't come out..so she thought he was outside running scared about 30 to 45 minutes later they heard him barking and found him safe... Cindy said to tell everyone thanks so much for all your prayers, she is grateful that everyone in her family, furbabies, horses and all are safe...the firemen said if the propane had blown she wouldn't have a house... Thank you for all your prayers....:ghug: |

OH I am so happy to hear they found him. And glad that the fire was contained to the porch. Someone was watching over them today. Thank god. |
Thank goodness everyone was all right, and the damage was minimal. |

WOW, I didnt see the first post until he was found.... I am so happy her baby is OK and safe.... Thank Goodness the house and everyone is ok.... d |
Great news. I only have one lil girl. I guess with multi lil babies this is very scary |
thank god they found peppy! |
How scary! I'm glad everything is okay now and he's found!!!! |
And they have new puppies! OMGosh! I am so glad it turned out so well. Cindy, we are so sorry about your porch, but so very thankful your family and animals are okay. :) Hugs! |
Poor Cindy.... she must have been so terrified when the fire started, so frantic to save her babies, precious things... how scary, and then to think that her little Peppy was missing. How wonderful that he was all this time safe, and that the propane tank remained intact. I just shudder to think how different the outcome could have been. Cindy, you must have "done good" girl, because someone up there is definitely watching over you.:rainbow::angel2dl: Hugs to you on your bad day,:ghug: Lauren |
Thank you to Peanut Kim -- my very sincerest thank you's for posting the prayer thead and for this one. We have had an exciting evening, but all is well -- our porch is destroyed, I'll post pics tomorrow -- I am sure that there is some interior damage as well, and a lot of smoke -- but Praise the Lord, my son, Earl, who was grilling is unharmed and he was quick thinking enough to open the doors and get the furbutts out. We drove up about the time that he opened the door and I grabbed up Scarlett and Kooper and put them in the trailer, next were two of Chizzie's puppies..... Earl handed me Peppy and I stashed him in the tack room of the horse trailer and by that time Chattie and Chizzie were fighting.... Chattie went in the trailer with Kooper, Scarlett and the two pups and Chizzie went in my mini van.... Earl had the other two puppies in the car and was backing it out of the garage. After the fire was out and most of the smoke cleared we got all of the dogs back inthe house except for Peppy -- I looked in the horse trailer twice -- opened the door and called him and NOTHING..... for over an hour we combed the neighborhood -- about dark a neighbor came over to help with the search and as we walked past the trailer Ron heard a teeny little bark..... and the rest is happy history. |
awww!!! im glad all is well! give all the furbutts a big kiss! especially peppy since he gave us a huge scare! |
I am so rattled I forgot to thank everyone for your prayers. They work! Peppy was found safe and sound -- I really hate to think what would have happened..... We don't go in the horse trailer much -- I get sick at my stomach thinking about what would have happened to poor little Peppy if he hadn't barked and Ron heard him. I attribute that tiny bark and Ron's good ears to some powerful praying going on. |
