German Yorkie? Ok, I am looking for another yorkie and I think it would be really fun to get one from Germany, I have been on all kinds of sites for breeders from there and the pictures are just gorgeous! I was wondering if any one else has one they have shipped from there and if so, who they might suggest.... The only problem I have had is contacting anyone because of the language issue, and Its hard to navigate through the sites because everything is in german... Okay well look forward to your responses!

I have imported yorkies and Biewers from Germany. I would be happy to talk with you about customs, shipping, and communicating. (Many of the people do know some English). Also PetAir in Frankfurt Germany has English speaking employees. I have called 3 separate times to make arrangements and they were so helpful. They even called me back and translated for me when the breeder was there. While the phone calls were expensive, it was well worth it!!!

There are breeders right here in the US and some on YT that have German Yorkies which I assume you are talking about Biewers. They all speak wonderful English and you wont have to ship a puppy all the way from Germany. Many of them have gotten their Biewers from Germany. Good luck in your search.

Yes, that was me! And based on all the advice and help I have recieved from numerous VERY knowledgable people, I have decided to wait until I know much more and am able to get a show quality yorkie( i feel like I need to start attending shows and meeting people and learning) I still want a little sister for Bailey (which I will not breed) and my boyfriend is from germany (but speaks no german...heh) and we both thought it would be very cool to have one from there...

Theres a lady just down the street from me who shows the Biewer Yorkies. She has puppies from time to time too. Would be much easier to buy one here than from Germany.
