I personally would not buy a stud dog. You should also never buy without seeing them in person first. I'm sure if you were to go to that ladys house to observe the dog you would find him marking even with a belly band, trying to mark. There would also not be any females in the same room with him. She would have them out of his sight. I hope if you get this dog, it is the same one she posted a picture of. All I can say to you is buyer beware. |
Hi, He sure is cute!!!! I'm not in LA, but we do have members who are. Maybe someone can check it out for you. You can start a thread, "Calling Members Form LA" With him being such a good stud, and a young age, I feel red flags. Before you send anything to her try and get some more pictures and see if she would be willing to meet a friend of yours to check him out. If our son goes up to LA this weekend I can send him over.;) |
DONT FALL FOR THIS ONE, I ALMOST DID, do a google search on her email address is comes up under scams!!!! she has also emailed me with alot of stuff, he is in a puppy cut now and she is sending me pics of him too. Here is her quote "I have get a recent picture for him yet, he is currently in puppy cut, and i should have his current picture tomorrow or Tuesday. He is still very pretty every with a puppy cut!!" http://blogg-erton.blogspot.com/2007...-scumbags.html her email is the first one listed so please dont fall for this its to good to be true I am affraid. |
pic I have seen this photo before...I remember the green fabric because it matches my dining room wall paper...now I will be looking for the book..!!! |
Wow, if anyone can get to the bottom of it..YT can. ;) So many SCAMS so little time. |
I think this is very fishy!!! Who would sell a proven stud with that many champions for $1000. SCAM! |
Sorry this turned out to be a scam, but atleast someone saved you from losing a lot of money. |
aww im in los angeles if you want me to check her out and the pup i will but everyone is saying its a scam so idk it might be |
I called her today & she did say he was 9months in the pic & he is in a puppy cut now. She said 2 other people have said they are sending payment for him so she wasnt sure he was available & said he had more silver in his hair now. Probably is a scam. Well thanks for all the help. |
I think he is SO cute!! I am personally a big chicken when it comes to buying anything expensive from people online without references, ect. Could she give you a list of people she sold puppies to in the past or anything like that, to give you some more security? I wish you the best of luck, he is a cutie!! |

I'm so sorry that this turned out to be a scam. I'd imagine that's very dissapointing. at least you didn't fall for it though! It's a good thing you looked furthur into it rather than just buying the pup. :) |

Hey Rachel I glad you didnt send any money I thought for sure it was a scam but wanted to email her anyways to get as much info as I could from her, I do have pics of that males parents and both pedigree's too. All I can say is that is not the male she is selling and as Amber_lv said about his hair its way to long to be a 9 month old pup, that Breeder never told when that pic was. If you want to see all the emails she sent just PM me and I will email them to you. BYW please everyone be careful cause this lady is knows how to scam people very good! |

Sorry that this didn't work out, but better find out ahead of time... and good for you to step back and check it out!! I pm'd you! |
Damn scammers! I'm just surprised she said she'd take Paypal. Paypal will refund your money if you are scammed, won't they? |
SOmetimes you have to really prove you have been scammed its hard. |

Also, I sold a bottle of perfume once on eBay to a lady in Canada. Needless to say, I didn't know that wasn't allowed. Anyway, I sent it AND it was received in Canada, but Canada wouldn't give it to her b/c it was perfume, so they "destroyed" it. She went to Paypal to say she never got it (even though she was notified by Canada PO) and Paypal gave her her money back!!!!!!! I was SOOOOOOOOOO pissed off!   So anyway, that stinks that Paypal changed their policy! I guess I better read up on that! |
Wow Rachel so glad that you didn't got scammed, soo wonderful that people here in yt was willing to go and ck this lady out:thumbup: |

I got scammed buying a puppy and used paypal. Paypal said that since the transaction wasn't through ebay it did not cover me. I ended up having to contact my credit card company to do a chargeback (they definitely sided with me). However, the money that was not from my charge card was lost($250). The other person that was scammed never did get her money back through paypal, last time I talked to her. If you check out ripoffreport and type in paypal it will tell you some of the things that happened, and that's only a fraction of the people who have bothered to complain. I thought by using paypal my money was safe and scam proof but it took so much time and energy to get back what I could and that was losing some of it, thankfully not as much as it could have been. They did nothing to help me recover my funds, all of it was up to me. |
I hope your able to find another yorkie here on YT that you like. |

So you all Know If you Read all the https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...ayments-policy terms you will know what they can and can't help you with befor you send money.. If you don't read a contract well... you know what I mean |
"Boy you sure have had a load of problems with paypal........ laptop and all this and more.... So you all Know If you Read all the https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...ayments-policy terms you will know what they can and can't help you with befor you send money.. If you don't read a contract well... you know what I mean" Isn't this Kimmie? The one I had to keep resending payment to because you didn't quite understand how paypal worked? Be very careful judging because I am just trying to warn people that it doesn't matter how nice you are, how many positives experiences you've had, it depends on how good the scammer is that's trying to get your money and what they can get away with. Tell me about it! I was having a nervous breakdown that lasted months it seems like. In one instance I was the buyer(puppy), in the other the seller(laptop). After that you can see why I wouldn't touch paypal with a ten foot pole! Of course as a buyer or seller you try to do what you think is honest and secure. With the puppy, I had no feeling I was going to be scammed. But since it was technically a bait and switch paypal said they don't cover that outside of ebay, only "item not received". Even though you can select that as an option in a dispute. With my laptop, I sent it to the address paypal sent me, signature delivery confirmation(matches the name and address provided to me, had communication with the buyer and everything, they had all positive feedbacks). However, they turned around and said someone fradulently accessed their email, ebay and paypal account. There are all these loopholes that pp uses to get out of covering you. It's impossible to know all the loopholes until you fall through them. Even with having all positives, glowing feedbacks, member for years...they don't care(member with ebay for 8 years 2 months, 610 ALL POSITIVE feedbacks). It was just a string of rotten luck which I didn't take personally after reading hundreds upon hundreds of similar horror stories. Scammers know what they're doing and honest people tend to be too trusting. Also, if you accept a split payment for something, you're not covered. Items not as described off of ebay, not covered. Signature confirmation not used, not covered(delivery confirmation is not good enough, you have to have a signature if it comes down to it). :( It's trickier the more money that's involved. A lot of the time they will only cover up to $2,000 or less. Both the puppy and the laptop were more than that but in both cases it really didn't matter. Anyone can feel free to PM me for specifics or my ebay user id to see for themselves. |
who is KIMMIE? This is Lori:) I am not Judgeing anyone I am just stating that If you use Paypal or any time you have a contract or agreement you need to read all... I am sorry you had a bad experience. Quote:

Oops, sorry Lori. Your avatar reminded me of the lady who also posts on here, her name is Kimmie. After awhile all these cute yorkies blend :) I couldn't remember her posting name. Funny thing is I can remember everyone's yorkies names...not their owners. Have a great day though. |
