OMG look what my... 1 Attachment(s) New Groomer did to my Babies :eek: they are NAKED !!!!! Wanted to try Apollo shorter, but Rosi i wanted just shortend, not naked, omg i wanted to cry..... all the hair is gone exept her topknot. I couldn get mad at her because mabe i wasent very clear with her, and she is so very nice bbbbuut......how long you think its going to take to grow out again ??????? Sooo much for the Calender pics i was gonna take today :cry8: :cry8: :cry8: |

I LOVE their cuts. Thats how I cut Azraels all the time but now letting it grow because were going to Alaska this winter. Please don't cry. I think they did a beautiful job on your babies. I think it may be too late to enter pictures for the YT calender since deadline was the 24th, but they are more than worthy of any frame. |

Your short is like my long, I try to keep Chip short since he is so active. They look fine, and they don't really seem to mind in the pic. |
Awww, I think they both look precious! And that's the TRUTH! :D I know how you feel though because the first (and only) time I took Stedman to the groomer, they cut him WAY shorter than I wanted him (I mean they shaved him down TOTALLY) and I too was very upset as well :( It will take several months for your babies to grow back out, but you know what...they look adorable and I bet they feel so much better too! :) I think she did a great job! |
They look adorable but I can understand your frustration. I shaved Gracie about a year ago and it's just now getting to her knees. I guess it depends on how fast your dog's hair grows. |
I think they are beautiful! I read in a Yorkie guide once...The only great thing about a bad cut....it grows back! Keep your chin up ! |

I think they look adorable!!! We keep both our boys that short all the time. They are too rambunctious to have (as my husband says) foo foo long hair. I would love to grow their coats out and I will when they get a little older. Right now though, they romp and play so hard that I fear it would be a tangled mess. This is just to say again, your kids look perfectly normal to me!!! :) |

4 Attachment(s) Thanks everyone for making me feel better, you guys are the best :D I will take the blame as i guess i did not explain the new Groomer what we wanted. Apollo wanted to look like our Snowboy Eddie :cool: not like Dumbo the flying Elephant ready for take off..:D just joking...;) Rosi is definitly getting her long hair back...Someday !!! We did send in a couple of pics for the Calender, pre Bad Hairdayblues as they did not coaperated well yesterday ! I guess we will have to train our new Groomer as she is pretty nice and like her ! :D |

I actually think they are pretty cute in those cuts, although i personally wouldn't have taken their heads and faces so short. I like to groom yorkies that come to us with just a little more hair on their heads, unless the owner just insists it be incredibly short (and you'd be surprised some do!) but they don't look horrible at all!! Take their pictures and whatever you do, don't act like their haircuts are terrible around them. Dogs react to new things as to how you react to it. If you act like it's terrible, they're going to be insecure about it. But it you act like it's great, they'll be comfortable that you are OK. :) |
