Wow, I'm glad to be reading this update!! I know it must be really hard for Kim, but I'm so glad that YTers were able to help!!! |
the link www.yorkierescueme.org guys I talked to one of the rescue founders last night for about an half hour...AMAZING PERSON (sunnyluvsma) I am asking for a list of things they might need and plan to send her supplies monthly if not more. I feel so good about Zoeys being there and any other yorkie for that matter. I just cannot say enough about this organization what a GREAT CAUSE!!!! Oh and Zoeys is doing great!! She got pampered last night and some of the treatment she needed from a vet :D Im sooo happy for her! THANK YOU RESCUE ME!!!!! |
Here is the link. The donate button is in the upper left corner, however, check out their store. You can buy cute little beds and the proceeds go to help with medical expenses. http://www.yorkierescueme.org/yorktoberfest.asp |

The beds we make ourselves. Twice a year our rescue gets together and sews and stuffs and usually there are 30 or more York's running around. Always good food and company even though it is hard work. We also do this so all the volunteers can see each other and visit. We are a great group of women and men (yes men!) that have a common bond, rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming the Yorkshire Terrier breed. Thank you again!:aimeeyork |
:D Okay well I spoke with the rescue on Thursday (sunyluvsma) And the puppy is doing MUCH better now. She has been stitched again and doing great! Carole sounded very hopeful for her to live a normal life :D I just wanna say again what great people runt his rescue LOVE THEM the number of dogs they save and rehome are staggering.....I never thougth this much work would go into rehomeing a dog...AMAZING!! I sent out my first box of goodies to them Friday :p Felt so good and my sone helped me so he took lots of pride in taking that box to the post office with me,..he said...Let ME carry that!! My daughter works at our family owned business and gets pais for shredding, making copies, etc., so she has decided to use a portion of her pay to buy fleece to make no sew blankets for these babies in need!!! That just makes me so proud to see the love I have for animals passed on to my kids... I could not hand pick a better trait for them to get from me! Thanks you Carole, and recue me for this wonderful thing you dedicate your life too...your all angels. |

Awww Ann Thank you...I will post some pics of the blankets she made last night...JoAnns has their fleece on sale right now so we loaded up !!! Our personal goal is to send every baby into thier forever home with a blanket to take with them :D And you are exactly right this is the core of our humanity! My children have accomplished lots of things so far with playing sports...school, and other activities. The 2 points I have been most proud of my kids When Tannar brought his Vick jersey to me and asked if he could cut it up and BURN it, and for my daughter to decided she wants to make blankets for a rescue! I would give back every Touchdown, basket, homerun, dance, all of it...for those 2 moments! |
