:yay_jump: :yay_jump: :yay_jump: Awesome!!!! Love a happy ending! :D :yorkietal |
i am so happy things are working out for that precious puppy; it is just a shame that such a loving mommy has to give up her baby. At least now she will have some information on the puppys future. She is driving all that way to give up that puppy so it will have a chance at a good life, she must be a wonderful person! I was afraid that that vet wouldn't have even bothered and would have put the puppy down, his office sounds cold and not even well informed; a cat indeed!!:D |
Okay I just found out the rescue Zoey is going to is the one my friend runs for in Jersey, same rescue just a different branch. I just tried calling her and she isnt home but I am going to stay on top this one and try to get Zoey to my sister. OMG it would be so awesome as I could actually help raise this baby!!! Im so excited and hope all works out. My heart goes out to Kim, and I I want her to know what a great thing she has did for Zoey...a very unselfish act on her part. Thanks for calling her Judy. ;) |

This thread was an emotional rollercoaster! I just now saw this thread, and you know how sometimes, you jump around trying to catch up? For some reason, I read every single post. What an emotional rollercoaster. Sad for the puppy's problem... touched by her unselfishness to do the generous thing (no matter how she feels about it).... happy that a YT'er would take the pup..... concern as time became an issue.... sadness as she had to relinquish with no hope for follow up information.... worry for the outcome no one would know about.... elation as the calvary was called in.... and hope that this baby would make a full recovery. I can't even see to type...... |
OMG I just read this also brought tears to my eyes. So glad this furbaby has gotten help. I had a beagle a few years back that had the same thing I forget what it's called but he put it back in then stitched it. It was all my dog needed but it just didn't work for her. My vet only charged me like 60.00 I have a vet that doesn't care about the money he actually cares about the animals. |

Just found this thread. So sad, but hopefully a happy ending. Will pray for Kim and little Zoey. |
I just found out that Im only about 1 1/2 away from her! If I would have found out sooner and knew she would have brought the baby to me I would have loved to have had Zoey. Plus I work at a vet hosp. But everything happened to fast. Im glad though that Zoey is going to be taken care of and hope that Diggy4's sister end up getting her. |
Judy, thanks so much for the update!! I am so happy that she will be well taken care of. Hugs to you, Kim! Bless you for doing what's best for her. |
Thank You Thank you all so very much!! It didn't take as long to get there as I thought, Actually it only took about 2 and a half hours to get there, the lady Jen met me at a Candle Barn outlet store, so I didn't have to drive so far. She was very nice, and I know she will take great care of Zoey until she can be placed in a new home. Thank you Judy for calling me, and updating everyone for me, and thank you all so much for all the prayers, and great thoughts you were all sending me and Zoey. I have to say I am not as sad as I thought I would be, I know she will be taken care of and I will at least know how she is. That would be sooo awesome if the sister of Diggy could adopt Zoey!! Jen actually had New Jersey plates, so maybe she worked for the New Jersey one as well. This is the longest I have ever driven, and I am very tired, emotionally and physically, so I am going to take a nap, Thanks again everyone, sorry it took so long to get back to update. Keep praying for Zoey, and if anyone has any extra money laying around.....Donate to Yorkie Rescue Me. They are awesome for saving Zoey!! www.yorkierescueme.com |
So pleased your baby is in safe hands. You have done a very good thing - it must have been hard, but I'm pleased you acted so quickly and selflessly. Well done:) |
