These are both in chicken broth and many other ingredients they say to use. I want to cook for Peanut and give him healthy and flavorful food PLEASE Help Crystal:animal-pa :animal36 |
Onion is toxic to dogs, it causes hemolytic anemia. Garlic in moderation is fine. |
Thank You How do all of these published recipes call for broth? |
The garlic is usually optional in the recipes. I personally omit it-I don't want to take a chance on it. |

Thank you so much, I think you told us that in a PM before, we plan to pick it up soon, been hectic moving... |
If you make your own broth it doesn't have to have onions in it. |
Chicken broth is okay as long as no onions...Low sodium would be best, in my opinion... I highly recommend Dr. Pitcairn's also. It will really help get you started on homecooking. Garlic is okay, but in very small amounts...Like one little clove for an entire recipe. |
