What is the silliest thing you've slept with in bed because of your Yorkie? I really enjoy these fun posts, and when I woke up in the middle of the night cuddling a giant blue camo Bobo and with a bully stick resting on my elbow, I thought to myself, surely others find themselves waking up to odd items in their beds. Tell me what you've woken up to in your bed! |
I know for a fact that I have at least 3 dog biscuits and a nyla bone hidden in my bed as we speak. Giz and I have that huge bed to ourselves and I darest not touch them because he knows right where they are for safe keeping.. ;) |
OMG, that's so funny:) My two know I don't want anything in bed with us but sometimes early in the morning when we all go to pee Kalani will sneak back in bed with one of his little toys - but he always picks one with a 'dead' squeaker - LOL! |
I always have some kinda toy in bed with us even if it is just one of my socks ........these two are just too cute and too funny as all Yorkies are:yelrotflm :yelrotflm Tina |
Some Pooh on my pillow. |
Cody brings his bobo and another stuffed animal to bed |
A bully stick, old piece of bread, and Pizza crust.Peanut likes to bury things in my bed for safe keeping. |
Chachi always brings his humpty bear up to bed |

We have a no toy or chewies in the bed rule also....Rocky knows what toys don't squeek anymore and hides them in the "no man's zone" between us. |
   I hope it wasn't while you were sleeping on it!:thumbdown Quote:

1 Attachment(s) I woke up with a new born puppy resting on my foot. Chizzie has delivered both of her litters in our bed! The third pup of her present litter was deposited on my foot while I was napping -- it had been a lllloooonnnnggg morning and I was waiting for her to finish taking care of her business :) |
Right now there is a nylabone, a pink Y shaped nylabone, a set of rings that Susanah LOVES to chew on, and a set of teething keys. There is also one of those petstages toys that you get wet and then stick in the freezer. I *think* that's all. Basically whatever she is playing with when its time to go night night is what she brings to bed with her. |

Oh I often wake up to a CUZ in the bed, his favorite of all toys. Worst is rolling over on a SQUEAKY toy and it squeaks and HE'S UP and ready and it's sleepy time. If I every woke up to a baby pup in bed we'd both be in trouble. |
I have found bits of shredded chicken hidden under some pillows! I found a wrapper "that I thought I threw into the trash (blueberry danish and no remants of the blueberry smear anywhere!), I found an empty small water plastic bottle also! I must have been in my 3rd dream.....Boobah will wake up early in the am about 3 or 4 am, then takes naps throughout the day! I wish she would just sleep the 8 hours that I do. By the way, she will be getting spayed October 5. The receptionist told me to bring her in at 9am, however her operation wont take place until 11am. |
goldfish crackers, treats, kibble, bones...sometimes I think they mistake our bed for a buffet! |

Awwwww how sweet to wake up to puppies :) I sleep with soccer balls and whatever Hallie has decided is her favorite toy of the evening :) And a TON of blankets b/c Simon won't sleep on anything but fleece. |
like 3 squeaky balls and a plush toy.... i woke up wondering why i was so uncomfortable all night and now i know why |
Gross chewed up bully sticks is pretty much as interesting as it gets at our house. |
I've woke up in the middle of the night wondering what in the world was hurting my back, only to find a Nylabone or a non-squeaky toy under the small of my back. Oh and one time "Bowie" brought one of his Carob Chip Cookies to bed and left crumbs on my pillow. |

Well, now and then I find dirty socks stuffed under my pillow  The thing that really is unpleasant is the white Nylabone Dino Dental bone-that thing is SPINY-it's awful to accidentally sit on that thing, but stepping on it on the floor is even worse! And of course, the occasional Bobo! |
A ferret carrier. When Gracie was a tiny puppy, I zipped her in that and put it at the head of the bed. I was so afraid of her falling off the bed, plus I wanted the effect of a crate for potty training. When she stirred and fussed, I woke up and took her potty. Worked like a charm! By the time she was too big for it, she was potty trained and using the puppy steps to get on and off the bed. Not one fall off the bed either! |

I agree. Nothing will beat the puppy. I just wake up with toys (sometimes about 5-6) all around me. She loves to play for a few minutes before I turn off the light. Sometimes when the light is turned off she drops her toys on me insisting that I play with her, but most of the time she'll sleep. I'm glad those that wake up with the poo on the bed that it's on the bed and not on them:) |
I agree nothing can top a new born fur butt!!!!! How awesome! |
