18lb Yorkie Just curious..... Do I have the worlds largest Yorkie? He weighs in at 18lbs. Not fat in the least. Just a big boy (for a Yorkie anyways....) Anyone else have a huge Yorkie? |
I think someone else on here has one that's over 20lbs. :) |
We would love to see a picture or two or three, ok lots of pics. We love to see them. |
I have a boy that weighs 10 lbs.- but we do not tell him that he is bigger than my other ones. |
Welcome to TY. Your boy is just like his great, great, great, great, great.............ancestors. :D Not a darn thing wrong with that!! Would love to meet him too! |

He must be really cute. Let's see some pictures. |
Please show us pics! My 11 1/2 lb Moose wants to see your guy! :animal-pa |
When we decided to buy a Yorkie we went in search of a "larger" Yorkie only because we have a little boy and wanted to make sure our Yorkie could run & play with him. (right now Buddy and my son are in the backyard playing football and having a blast) The breeder we bought Buddy from was almost apologizing for his larger size....she had never had a Yorkie over 6lbs. Well, we thought he was perfect in size even though he was larger than his brothers and sisters. He is now 10 months old and he weighs 10 lbs. So for our home...the bigger the better!!! But big or small all Yorkies are precious!!! |
Welcome to YT I can't wait to see pictures of your sweet boy :) |
I don't know if 18 pounds is the worlds largest Yorkie...but as long as he's healthy...just enjoy him...more of him to love!!! |

My Coffee is about 12lbs. Since I've been on here have called him my teapot yorkie, then just yesterday thought "oh you dummy, he's not a teapot he's a COFFEEPOT":D |
I've seen a 22lb yorkie before |
Nope don't think he's the largest. They used to be much bigger years ago anyway. I have a 12lb boy :) |
You guys missed the teapots posts a while back as there have been several. But there was one where the Yt'rs shared photo's of their yorkie teapots and the photo's were to cute. You have to admit they're lovable not matter what the size. |
i saw the pics!! he doesnt even look 18 lbs...!! |
We have a Yorkie who weighs 10 pounds. He used to weigh 6 but our Vet put him on steroids when he got a skin allergy. Actually he has lost some weight. He did weigh 13 1/2 pounds. Lots of exercise and cutting back on his food has helped. But, we still love him. Kathy |
1 Attachment(s) One of the best dogs I ever had was a 12 1/2 pound Yorkie. I'll miss him until the day I die. |

Built Ford Tough... Something like that.... |
Hehe ;) I haven't read the other replies, but I definitely DON'T think that you have the world's largest Yorkie :p I think a few here have babies that are 20 lbs and over :D |
I don't think you have the biggest. But I have to say, big or small, you have a Yorkie, and that is one special gift to have in our lives!!!!! :) :) |
I have two "Teapots" Peanut (13lbs) Thumper(18lbs) |
Ahh, he's more to love.. LOL at the pic for the ladies. :D |
That's how my Beau is, he isn't fat, he's just...solid. He's probably around 13 pounds now. (I started mixing wet and dry dog food, and he'll eat until it's gone, whether he's hungry or not...definately a BOY! That's how my boyfriend is too...lol) |
Crockpot! 1 Attachment(s) No teacup, teapot, or coffeepot...but.... my CROCKPOT. In April Chelsea was 20.6 lbs, since then she has been put on Science Diet Lite, and is down to 18 lbs.....WE THINK! Hard to tell she knows where the doggie treats are kept-but she did declare to her VET it was "ONLY WATER WEIGHT". :D :D :D |
