My doggie first aid says to cup your hands and "clap" around the rib cage (not too hard) - sort of like giving the heimlech. Hope this helps...... |

IS SHE OK?? Probably wrong thing to do... but I have put my pinkie down my yorkie's throat to push a stuck treat.... (!!) |

I hope she's ok. I would have said throw her in the car and get her to the nearest vet. |

 OMGosh! How's she doing?? |

Man, Waiting is hard...I hope Molly is okay!!!!! |

I hope and pray shes ok. |

How is she doing? Please keep us posted. |

If they are coughing they are getting air through. I would let her try to resolve it unless she is not coughing or getting air through. If after a few min she cant move it, I would head to the vet. |

 Is she ok? |

i'd go to the vet if it's not down in a few minutes. please give us updates, i hope everything will be alright |

I really hope she is okay!! Tammy |

That's what I was thinking...if she is getting air she will probably work it out. Some people try giving a small peice of bread to help push it down. I pray we hear back from you VERY soon stating she is ok:hands: |

It is hard to know if it is stuck near the wind pipe. I would not do anything to risk it going down the wrong way. I would take her to the vet NOW if she has not dislodged it herself. |

Maybe she took Molly to the emergency vet? I hope Molly is OK - let us know. :( |

Please be okay Molly...I pray... |

OMG how is Molly doing? I am praying for you little Molly. |

OK I called my vet and was just getting ready to leave when, she vomited it up, omg ive never been so scared, it was a small flat piece that was loged in her throat making it hard to swallow & breath, thank you for the fast replies everyone, please be careful when giving those flat treats, she is back to her self now:) vet said not to give her anything more till morning. |

Glad all is well.... |

oh my goodness, you must have been terrified. i was for you! so glad she is ok. kisses from my crew. |

This was the first time i had ever give her one, thats why is was such a small piece, but she didnt chew it she swalloed it, and i panicked and shoved my finger down her throat and made it worse i think:( the vet told me you should never do that, it can force it futher in to her wind pipe, my poor husband was holding her when it all came up, that shirt went to the trash:rolleyes: Im having her sleep with me tonight, just to make sure she is ok:) out of 4 babies this is the first time this has ever happen and i hope its the last, im so thankful you were all here with me. |

 Whew! I'm so glad she's okay!:) |

I'm so glad she is OK. Something similar happened to Gracie when a round treat got stuck in the roof of her mouth at the entrance to her throat. I had to remove it with my finger. It was lodged in there really tight. Now she gets those treats broken in half first. Very scary thing. |
