Please pray for Pebbles
 

As you know yesterday I posted in the morning that Pebbles has blood in her stool. Well today she has had diarrea with lots of blood. I took her first thing this morning to the vet and he really does not know what it is. They did blood work and stool work and it all came out normal. He injected her antibiotic and gave me pedialyte. We came home and about half an hour later she starting throwing up. I called him and he told me to bring her back. She is now in the hospital with an IV. I have been crying and scared the entire day! What do I do if I lose her? I cannot bear it, she is the daughter that I never had as you know that I have two real sons. I am so lost without her. I just came from seeing her and you should see her little face of helplessness. It just so happens that her picture was put on ebay today on three different auctions from a person that I bought some bows from. Please pray for my baby, I will leave you now as I am crying!

Oh we will keep Pebbles in our thoughts and prayers!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry about Pebbles. :( I will keep her and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope they can figure out what is wrong with your little precious soon so that she can get better and come home to her mommy.

I will pray for your sweet baby girl, My puppy was throwing up and diarea also, she had coccidia. she is doing great now. Think positive and with all these prayers she will be o.k.

I posted this prayer to St. Francis of Assisi on another thread for another Yorkie in need of prayers. Pebbles could also use it. Here is a prayer to St. Francis of Assisi, the lover of all creation, patron saint of animals and the environment, and the founder of the Franciscan Order. Heavenly Father, the bond we have with our friends of other species is a wonderful and special gift from You. We now ask You to grant our special animal companions your Fatherly care and healing power to take away any suffering they have. They trust in us as we trust in You. Give us, their human friends, new understanding of our responsibilities to these creatures of Yours. Our souls and theirs are on this earth together to share friendship, affection, and caring. Take our heartfelt prayers and bless these ill or suffering animals with healing Light and strength to overcome whatever weakness of body they have:

I'm praying for you and pebbles. In my house, I live with my 2 sons, my husband, and my dad, so Desi and I are the only 2 girls. I know how you feel about your little girl.

Pebbles!!! I always use St. Francis when animals are in need of healing and protection. I will say a prayer now.

Pebbles is going to be okay; after all, look how many YT aunties she has pulling for her.
I had a tiny girl years ago who had HGE..She lost a pound in less than 36 hours and she was small to begin with. She survived after Antibiotics and iv's and went on to be a mom herself. Your baby will be in all of our prayers....

Thank you all for all of your prayers. I just spoke to the vet he took her home with him. He says that she has colitis, her intestines are very inflammed and it could lead to Crohn;s Disease. It is really weird because my mother in law has that same disease. You have no idea how much I miss her, everywhere I go in my house there is a piece of Pebbles. Then again, you do know how I am feeling right now. She is still throwing up and diarrea but he expects for her to live. He says that the first 24 hours are the most crucial. At least she is in his house.

Awww, Hon....Know that there are so many of us with you in spirit and thought as we pray that your little one feels better soon.

I know it's probably of no comfort to you, since your baby is presently ill, to hear stories about how other pups pulled through something equally bad or worse. Just do believe, however, that these are tenacious little beasts and they really do have a strong will (to live, to go potty where they want, whatever...)

I hope your baby is feeling way better by the time you read this. I hope you are feeling better also.
