Scrapbook Ideas?
 
Im on a posting rampage..haha. I was just thinking how neat it'd be to make a scrapbook of my little angel. Have any of you made one for your yorkies? If so do you mind posting any pictures of what it looks like or a sample page? Id like to get some ideas! Thanks! :D

lol i was just wanting to start my scrapbooking project as well.. and i have no ideas running through my head what-so-ever! so i'd like to stick around this thread :D

I've only done one page so far. It was a little hard to scan, because it didn't fit all the way (it's a 12 by 12). All the way at the bottom is a paw sticker in the same line as the 'puppy love' sticker. I'm hoping to get started again on my scrapbooks. I have soo much stuff to do. Especially since I shot five film rolls of pictures of Trixie in about 3 months.

Your one page is very beautiful as well as your Trixie. If you do anymore you will have to share those as too. :animal36

I made a shadow box with a 9x9, Ill post a pic of it. I couldnt believe I saw someone posting about scrapbooking here. Its my passion! Thats where my user name is from, I try to keep my name on most boards otherwise Ill forget them...lol

I just started a scrapbook on Maddie...only have a few pages done. Here's the cover of mine...mine is one of those small ones.

I started on a Scrap book when I got Ellie Mae.. I had paper stuff from one end of my dining room to the other.. LOL..
I will take some pics and post them later.. It was fun!! My children got really jelous cause I did one for my First Yorkie girl and none of them.. LOL

Scappymomma just curious about the shadow box thing. I have several metals from all Homer's wins in show and wanted to display them. Instead of sitting in my filing cabinet. Harmony has some to but not as many. But if you have some suggestions or would offer to do this for me (hint hint.... :p ) I would pay you of course. I can make dog bow not displays....lol Any help would be appreciated....

I love scrapping, here is a page. (sorry about the flash, I took a pic cuz it didn't fit on my scanner)

This was a Creative Memory challenge so I wasn't allowed to use eyelets, fibers, jute, nothin to exciting..

I would love to take this project on. I think it would be best in a 12 x 12 bopx though. Let me know if you still need help with this. You wouldnt need to pay me to do it but just for the supplies that would be needed.

I have those stickers too! But I haven't made any pages yet... :thumbup:

scrappymomma Oh how wonderful of you, thank you!!!!! :D I would love to have you to do this for me. I took a picture of the metals on one of his little certificates. The first metal with the number three on it was his best in show 3rd. place. He has two of them. Then he has four of the blue ribbons for meeting his breed standard and three ribbons with best of puppy breed. But this will give you some idea of the things I would like in his shadow box. I also have some pictures of him we might want to incorporate too. I will have to go through the show pictures and see which ones. I attached one of them with this post, but not so sure I am crazy about it though. I added his baby picture in the post just for fun. I will PM you for your personal information, and again thank-you, thank-you, thank-you..... :p I almost forgot Harmony has to have one too. She has five metals... :)

What a great idea. I did a scrapbook of a family trip to Montana a couple of years ago. It was easy, they're a zillion ideas at the scrapbook places, only time consuming. But my babies, I have to do one now.

I do 12x12 pages as well, but I do two pages per arrangement or whatever. Here's the only two I've done for any of my pets. The first is of Reagan of course and the second is of Auburn my husband's bloodhound.

Don't look too close at the pictures on Auburn's page they are horrible pics of us but hey I wanted one of him on there and new if I didn't put one of me as well he'd be ticked (those are the only ones I had with us in them).

I only do side-by-side pages in my books... The one I did above was for a scrapbook challenge, and it will be a side-by-side when I'm done...

All the pages posted are great. I love all the pictures on the pages as well. Lexi is so pretty.

Including the two I posted I only have 5 pages done. One of my husband, one of myself and one of our trip to the zoo. You might say that we aren't a very exciting couple. Plus we don't have kids yet either. My scrapbook is so boring...

Oh My Gosh...
I have scrapbooked Mitzee since the day I brought her home. The first photos I took of her where when I picked her up from the breeder. I wanted her first day home and how I felt when I finally got her. She has her own book, but it is not 12" x 12" like all my other ones. I did her in an 8" x 8" book. I guess I am a scrapbook fanatic.

I love the pampered pooch page Ischatz.

You all have such great pics on your scrapbook, they look perfect on your pages. Do any of you have any tips on how to take good pictures for scrapbooking (in general not just pets) or do you just sort through the pics to find the right ones. Do you normally take close-ups or leaves a lot of background? I would love to hear anyones advice. Thanks

Thank you, I thought she looked so adorable in the little pink jacket.

As for the pictures - it really depends on what your taking to get a close-up shot. When I take them of Mitzee, I am trying to capture her little expressions, so yes they have a tendancy to be close-up shots.

I just love taking photos, my husband even got me the Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 a couple weeks ago for my birthday. What an AWESOME camera if your looking for digital.

Oh I just love everyones scrapbooks. You guys are really good at them My daughter started making one this year. I have never done a scrapbook.
Have any of you ever did the picaboo ones on here? Go here to download and check it out. Its real fun and easy to do and you can even print the pages out after making them.

I was mad at Trixie for like one second ;) You are right, she does think she is cute enough to eat. I think it'll be cute to put eaten page on a different page and still put it in the scrapbook.
