Daddy did it wrong
 
This morning was a little crazy. First day of school for one skin kidlet, teacher meeting for another skin kidlet....

I asked DH to get Susanah's breakfast ready and feed her for me. He did exactly what I told him. 2 tablespoons of canned Wellness, put in microwave for 17 seconds, mix in about a teaspoon or so of cottage cheese. Put the Poopanut on the table and feed her with the pink spoon.

Susanah refused to eat it. She just sat there looking at him with this "you're kidding me, right?" look on her face. So I came in and sat down and tried to feed her. She clamped that little mouth shut and wouldn't have it.

So I got sneaky. I PRETENDED to throw out what DH made. I PRETENDED to put 2 more tablespoons of food in, PRETENDED to microwave it, PRETENDED to mix in the cottage cheese. Sat Susanah on the table and fed her with the pink spoon. She ate every bite. :rolleyes:

haha how cute. mine does the same. does not trust daddy at all with her food, but will give him kisses first (before mommy) and run to play with him. :p sighh.

He just shook his head and called her a spoiled little mama's girl. He told her he'd remember that the next time he got something to eat and she wanted a bite.

Yes, she does. Only her breakfast though. Sometimes, if I'm worried she didn't eat enough kibble during the day I'll feed her the same for dinner too. She always eats it sitting on the table and I feed her with her pink spoon.

Apparently only *I* can feed her. Spoiled little Poopanut!

Oh my gosh she sure is spoiled! She actually eats with a spoon. I can;t get mine to take their medication with a dropper! How cute is that!

He wasn't too upset. He knows what a Mama's baby she is. He desperately wants her to be a Daddy's girl but she just isn't cooperating. LOL!

*I* was more upset than he was because I was busy trying to get ready and get skin kidlets ready and I had to stop everything and feed her majesty.

Oh, boy! That is funny.:D I know I've spoiled mine rotten, too. Sometimes I'll feed her from my fingers, but sometimes when I really don't have time she'll sit there and stare at me like, "Aren't you going to feed me?" If I don't then she'll walk over and start eating by herself if I'm really lucky.:D

Ok...now I don't feel so bad about feeding Tetley with a spoon :p Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Tetley sits on the floor though. My in-laws had enough of a heart attack when they heard I fed him by spoon, if they heard I put him on the table they might disown me :rolleyes:

Spoiled little brats we have! :D

I was dying laughing at the initial post....and I was trying to figure out what item a "poopanut" was that you were putting on the table:p .....Susannah is the poopanut, ROFL...that's TOOOO funny! I wish you had that on video! I love the pink spoon, hehe....she IS quite the little diva, isn't she:D ?

:eek: I have been training daddy to feed Tede for a week now. IM LEAVING for a week. HES going to starve. :eek: Thats what im afraid of. DADDYS just dont do it right.:questione ... The other day my bf had me on the phone talking to Tede so he would eat. I have a store full of people and Im saying on the phone They can hear me " its ok. sweetie you eat know. yumy yum " SO now i dont feel as bad. but I did look strange. BUT the pink spoon well we do need to see it......

Oh! she is absolutely ROTTEN!! I had a bulldog once, that wouldn't eat if we took him anywhere else. When we went to boyfriends parents in southern indiana he wouldn't eat unless he ate out of my hand. It's so funny how quirky they are!!!

LOL! I've always called her my little Poopanut. DH sometimes calls her "Poopanator"....she ignores him.

I will definitely try to get a vid or at least pics the next time DH is off and can man the camera.

Just so ya'll have a visual, picture a little 4lb yorkie sitting on a table, her mommy sitting in a chair making transportation noises (car, airplane, and train are favorites) and feeding said yorkie girl with a little baby sized pink spoon. And saying things like, "C'mon wittle poopanut eat your breakfast like a big girl! Here it comes <insert transportation noise here> yummy! What a big girl you are! Are you Mommy's baby? Yes you are! Can I have kisses? Ready for another bite? Yummy yum yum! That's good stuff!

Ok, so MAYBE she is a tiny bit rotten.

Ok, so she's so rotten she stinks. Can ya'll smell her?
