				 | gross I know Okay tell me...should stool be hard or just solid? I'm starting to think Boston just doesn't poop hard poop. It's solid, it's not liquid, but it's smooshy...every time I clean up his poop it just smooshes in the napkin when I pick it up. Sorry I know that's gross but I'm confused. I don't want to run back to the vet and do another stool sample if it's nothing but if it's NOT normal then maybe I should. Zoey's is soft too when she first goes but it's more formed and more solid looking..... AGHRRRRRRRRRRRRRR BOSTON!!!!!

				 | My vet once told me that it shouldn't fall apart when you pick it up-it can break in pieces, but not smush. Does that help?

				 | I'd call your vet and ask. Could be the food you have him on.

				 | It might be the food or treats. Does he eat dry food or wet?

				 | I'm LMAO! Between all the poop threads, and my new thread about humping, I think we need a section called "embarassing/gross/bodily functions" !

				 | food I have them on Canidae dry. I've been wondering about the food. The last time he was at the vet 2 weeks ago he showed abnormal amounts of bacteria but nothing inparticular. I'm thinking of switching them both back to Eukenoba which is what they were on before. It's not diarrhea and liquidy it's just really soft.

				 | Mine have soft mushy poop on both Chicken Soup and Canidae which is why I decided to switch to homecooking. It's definitely more work but I guess my two just have sensitive tummies - sigh.

				 | The poop should be solid and relatively hard, you should be able to break it into pieces but it shoulden't squish. Gross lol. |
