| ![]() I've read that they eat grass when their tummies aren't feeling right to make themselves feel better. Sometimes they'll throw up afterwards...

| ![]() Yep, I've always heard it was for upset tummies. It makes 'em throw up and they seem to be good as new. Luckily, I haven't had a grass eater for years!

| ![]() Casper can't get enough of the stuff - every time he gets out the door - even on the way to the car - he has to try and grab some grass ! Yes, I've also heard it's to make them sick as they feel queezy - but if that's the case then it must give them a buzz or something too, going by Casper ! ![]() |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() I had a talk with my vet about eating grass back when Chanel was sick throwing up for 2 days ...We've all heard eating grass will settle their tummies - but actually - that works on CATS not dogs - When a dog eats grass it will make them sick - when a cat chews grass it settles their stomachs - so don't 'let' your dogs eat grass if you can or you'll have a little barfer on your hands |

| ![]() Mine always eat that darn grass, and then come in the house and get sick. I'll take Villette's advice and try not to let them eat it.

| ![]() I don't have a grass eater either, but I remember as a kid our dog would eat grass and throw up afterwards. We were not allowed to let the dogs in the house if we saw them eating grass. Funny how you remember stupid childhood events like that!!
