Oh no!! When I saw the thread title I thought it was an old thread!!! Praying for her safe return

We're praying for Maddie's safe return!!

Thank you so much everyone. :) I haven't read all the replies yet, but I wanted to get on here and post the good news!!!

Maddie is asleep at my feet. :) After I posted this thread, we were back out looking. In the last 1 1/2 hours or so we've been getting TONS of calls of people seeing her. She was ALL over the place. We'd be in one person's yard, then someone else would call from 5 blocks away saying she was there! Finally, Sherry Lynn and I split up and I was walking up some giant disgusting spider web filled hill haha. I almost turned around and went back, but I figured "Just keep going. It's worth a shot!" So I hadn't gone 3 more feet when I felt something jumping on my leg! I thought it was some kind of animal I DIDN'T want to run into, so I freaked a little haha. I looked down and saw Maddie and I kind of screamed. :p She took off again because it scared her, but I called her and she came right to me. Then I screamed I think the loudest I've ever screamed "I've got her!!" lol. I was in tears. :) Maddie was covered in burrs and mats. So Sherry Lynn and I just spent a good amount of time cutting those out and what not.

I am so relieved. and I am so grateful. and I never want to see a tree again haha (I spent most of the time in woods without paths. so I'm kinda scraped up :rolleyes: ) We're all a bit ticked at her (Maddie), but she's just so darn cute we can't stay mad. :p

I'm still staying the night at Sherry Lynn's to make sure Maddie is comfy. then in the morning I'll be joining my parents and brother to enjoy the rest of my vacation. :D

Megan I am sooooooo happy!!!! Yt prayers work again!!

Just signed on and was reading the thread and just as I was going to post that I would be praying for Maddie's safe return. And lo and behold the YT prayer line worked it's miracle again and Megan found little Maddie.

I love happy endings. Megan I am so happy that Maddie has been found and is safe and sound.

i was just reading this post and thought omg not another missing baby and was i relieved to see that Maddie was found!! Thank you Lord for answering YT prayers!!! Glad she is home safe and sound!! Good team work you two!!!:thumbup: :thumbup:

Sherry Lynn never stops telling jokes haha. She's hysterical. :) While we were driving around looking for Maddie, there was this road that said "Road contruction. DRIVE AT OWN RISK!" and so we were driving along and there was nothing but new blacktop and Sherry Lynn was pretending to be freaking out. It was soo funny. :D

Thank you guys so much for your kind words! Everyone is in bed but me and Maddie, we're chilling in the computer room. :) She just had a bath, which she wasn't thrilled about, but at least she's clean!

Megan, I'm just now seeing this post and I went right to the end hoping for the best. I'm so glad that is what I found. Keep that little girl under lock and key and tell her to quit scarying the bejesus out of her mommy!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Megan! I just saw your thread and I thought it was an old post from before. I felt so sick when I saw she had run away again! How scary...tell her not to do that to you any more! I am so glad that she has been found and now you can truly enjoy the rest of your vacation! Big hugs to you and your Mom...and of coures, Maddie too! Whew...I'm so glad she's back with you! Do you think she took off because she was looking for you?
