| A girl...no, a boy....no, a girl....no, a boy... Okay, I'm getting a new puppy in a few months, and when I first decided I wanted another one, I wanted a girl. I got Lily, and she passed away after 10 days. My hubby and I were talking, and I said I think I'd rather just get another boy so that Jake can have a brother. Then, I see so many of the girls here on YT, and think I want a girl. But, I love the disposition of the boys. Jake is so so so sweet, and although I know I won't necessarily get another boy with his disposition, I kinda like the idea of having two boys. Then, that would give me an excuse to get a third one....see, I'm thinking ahead. I'm getting the puppy from the same breeder I got Jake, but different parents. My husband thinks I'm scared to get a girl because of what happened with Lily, but that's not it. I'd love to hear everyone's experiences with boys vs. girls.

| I've only had female Yorkies but I kept a male overnight once and he peed on EVERYTHING!!! I was pregnant at the time and I couldn't handle it, I was suppose to have him for a week, so I took him back to his owner. That's the only thing I didn't like was he lifted his leg on my stuff.

| I have always loved the boys!!! Never had a girl, so I really have nothing to compare with. But I will probably always have a boy.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | ah, just get one of each. haha. but there are pros and cons to each. I loved having 2 boys because when I called them I could just say "come here, boys" or we could refer to them as "the boys." But it's so much fun having a little girl to dress up and baby lol. Good luck!

| I think you should get a girl Working at a dog boutique, so many people come in with little boys and I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard, "Oh, I wish I had a girl!" Then I always wonder why they didn't LOL. Or get a boy and a girl! One day I'd like to have a total of 4 yorkies at once..three girls and then the last one will probably be a boy.
