sabrinasmom | 06-17-2005 04:47 PM | She'll come around. It was probably the vet thing. I never hold mine while she's getting shots. First, the needle was bigger than she was. I told the vet he was going to hit her brain, and HE SENT ME OUT OF THE ROOM and still laughing got his assistant in there to hold her. Now, I'm ALLOWED to stay in the room, but no touch if it's shots or nail trimming. I flinch and she flinches. I am so chicken about her.
Leave a trail of snacks to your lap on the floor - I bet she can't resist. Get girl friend/wife to cuddle with both of you and make her make up. Poor little things - that's probably the most traumatic thing that's ever happened to them. Ha. |
