It is difficult to determine if there's a problem with her coat from the photos. The thumbnails are too small, and the clicked pictures are too blurry. I thought I could see thin hair on her ears. Take her to the vet to make sure there is nothing going on with her skin -- mites or whatever. There are several skin conditions that can cause the hair to thin, and you want to get them attended to sooner rather than later. Another thought -- what do you feed her? Maybe she's not getting some crucial nutrient in her diet. She sure is adorable. I wish she was mine. Good luck to you, and let us know what the vet says. |

awwwwwwww I don't think she's ugly at all! If you're really concerned, take her to the vet and make sure she doesn't have any kind of skin problems, etc. Also, is she eating well and what kind of food are you feeding her? What kinds of shampoos are you using to bathe her? All of these things can make a difference, or maybe she's just going through an awkward stage. Do you have pics of her when you first got her so we can see what the change is that you're talking about? I think she's a little cutie!:) |
I think she is cute!!! Please don't say she's ugly!!! They change so much the 1st year-year and a half. Lexie had some silver coloring in her when she was a yr old, now her hair is completely brown and black. Do you feel like you are bonding with her? That is the most important thing. When her adult coat comes in, I personally think she will be beautiful!!! |
I have another question she is about 5 1/2 inches tall right now at 16 weeks can anyone tell me how tall she will be cuz I hoping she won't be taller than 10 inches |
1 Attachment(s) do you have pics of her before you cut her hair??? i think she is cute and jsut looks like a yorkie! some have more fuller coats. skoshi used to look bald on his head and then we noticed his roots where a white color so it wasnt really hairless lol! this is him a long time after his hair really change and we shaved him lol |
Aww..UGLY??!!  I think she's a cutie! All pups go through the "odd looking" stage..please don't say "ugly"..yorkies have feelings too! That's like when we were teenagers and hit puberty...not ugly, awkward! |
I have been feeding Eukanuba small breed puppy I know it is not a skin condition like mites or mange like I said earlier I just want to know if yorkie puppy getting very thin hair is common. Her hair is just very thin on her face and head and at the bottom of her legs with a new coat coming in |
Awwww she is beautiful.....Lexie went through that stage of thinning hair, and turning colors, you might want to add some missing link to her food, :D |

to be honest if she's healthy - that's what matters....The Sick and Emergency section is full of so many dogs who have serious problems that worrying about how tall she'll get seems kind of trivial you know ? She's a puppy and she's YOUR puppy ....just ENJOY her - she's going to get how ever tall she gets - there's nothing anyone can do to stop growth :) |
thats not a real good food! maybe some other people on here can advise some better ones. |
your breeder hi it looks like your puppy is chaning coats ... i cant belive that your breeder didnt tell you about this... have you contacted your breeder .. i know alot of us who breed feel the relationship with new puppy owner go's past you leaving with a puppy and money in hand in the last set of pics was your baby shaved also whats your new babie's name |
