| Likes husband the best! I bought my beautiful Missy to be my own but she loves my husband more! I do almost everything for her. I just don't understand. She stares at him like she's mezmerized. He thinks it is so funny but sometimes it hurts my feelings. Do all girls like the male in the household better? Is it just a YT thing? Do boys go to women better? Is there anything I can do to get her to love me? |

| awww. i'm sure she loves you! mocha is so boy crazy and immediately goes to any male for their attention by kissing them. it used to hurt me a lot because i was the one taking care of her all the time (feeding her, washing, picking up her poop, etc) and she would rather play with my boyfriend than be with me. she's older now (almost a year old!) and i can now see how much she depends on me. it's a different kind of love she shows me than with other guys (i still don't understand that), but i've accepted it. i really don't have any advice, but i just wanted you to know that you're not the only one who's going through that and.... that i'm sure your furbaby adores you, even if she doesn't show you.

| aw, I'm sorry to hear...I know this sucks because my old dog was this way, he was a male and would much prefer my hubby even though I DO EVERYTHING for him. It sure does hurt your feeling but on the other hand, it feels as if they are just naturally drawn to certain people and has nothing to do with you. My current yorkie is so drawn to me no matter what and she looks at me with such mesmerizing eyes and when we both come home today, she will always run to me and give me kisses first. It's really strange how they do that but I am sure of it that she loves you just as much. |

| I am also the one who "does it all" for Zoey, but when my husband wakes up or comes home from work, Zoey goes nuts like she hasnt seen him in years! She kisses him a hundred miles per hour! She never greets me like that! She also flirts with him by lying on her back and trying to act cute! It is really something to watch! There is just something about girls and their daddy.

No matter what, they will ALWAYS love their mommy first! |

| I don't know what to tell you, I have 5 furbabies, 3 males and 2 females, they all want to be by my side 24/7...if my husband gets home before I do they don't make a peep from their room, but as soon as I walk in the door, they are barking and crying because they want out so bad. If I can't make it home for lunch, my husband will go let them out to potty and he says he doesn't know why he even bothers because the majority of the time they won't leave the porch, they just sit there and look at him or the door waiting for me to come. Although if I am busy, cleaning house or scrapbooking, some of them will go sit with him, especially if it's bath time, then they are running to him looking for protection from bad ol' mommy wanting to bathe them. |

| I thought Kingston liked my bf more because whenever he left the room he would whine and cry like crazy. So we did an experiment, and I left the room and he whined just the same. So I guess he loves us equally. |

| Piper was always my dog until I brought Penny home. He really isn't all that thrilled about her, and now he always goes to my husband. It makes me feel really bad. Penny on the other hand never leaves my side. I really enjoy her, but I'd like Piper to be the way he use to be.
