No kidding! 5K HOLY COW!!!!! Sammi would rather fly she said!! LOL!!

Its been sooo hot here...I just have to face that Sammi is one spoiled Yorkie!!

LOL....funny how much these little ones really become like children... I know it is selfish...but I don't want to leave my Maximus...I will be so worried.. :( ....I think he will be sad without his mommy and daddy there but at least if he has a friend to play with he will be okay...

Is bringing him with you an option at all??

If he stays with us he will have Sammi to torture!! LOL!!

Believe me, even when I leave Sammi, and I KNOW she is in great hands with my parents...I worry...I call 100 times...Its only natural...

I live in Manahattan and I will babysit your baby if you need me too. I have Gucci and she is 11 months. I have 2 children 12 yr old son and 4 yr old daugther. Im so sorry about your Grandma.

I have always left my babies, sometimes 8 of them, with Pat, YorkieRose. She left me and moved. But, her friend wanted me to mentor her and she owns a toy dog hotel and in Feb. I left 7, I think, and those ungrateful brats didn't act like they missed me at all..Well, maybe a little but they had all the comforts of home and none of the mommie stuff.. Maybe you could bring your baby down here and we will keep them. With as many as I have, 1 more wouldn't make a difference..
I am sorry to hear about your gr. mother. I was very close to mine and I remeber when she died I was soooooo very sad. Where does she live?

My husband and I are going to Bermuda for 5 days in November. We are just heartsick to leave him, but we have good friends that we got Keno from. They have Keno's mother, father and sister dog. He loves being with them and I know they will take extra good care of him while we are away.

Everyone is so great for offering..I hope I can be of some use sometime.... :)...my grandmother lives in Guatemala..lol..they won't give her a visa to come here because of her conditon even though she could probably get more help here

what does ur baby have? :(

i know waht u mean about traveling overseas ... i had wanted to take my baby to ecuador with me i did some reserach and most airlines ask to place em in cargo esp. in international flights ...
i was not about to do that ...

Yes! If I was ever in that situation, I'd want someone on YT to take care of him. It is traumatic enough for them for their mom to be gone. At least, if there was someone to stay with him, then you wouldn't worry as much.

Not my baby..he is okay..my Grandmother has stomach cancer (very progressed)...and she is not doing well....but to take him there really isn't much of an option... my family is all mixed up..we have guatemala, puerto rico and german...I haven't been there in 15 years (Giatemala) and last time I went we were held up at gun point by guerillas...

Omg, Luz, Im so sorry about your "abuelita" (grandma). My mom passed away in 2000 of renal cancer. If you feel like talking PM me ok.
How are things in Guatemala now? Does the Guerrillas still around? :eek: Please be careful over there.

wow that sucks luz but u know what they say if shes suffering then its best (and i dont mean any disrespect) to let her go .. u know what i mean? :(

This sounds horrible but since that incident I was forbidden to go back (I had gone with relatives from PR)...I rarely speak to my family over there because I guess I get so caught up in "my life" over here..but I got a phone call from my mom and father's family yesterday telling me the news ..(my father's mother..and they have been divorced for almost 18 years but my mom has always stayed close that side of the family..so out of respect she is going as well...)..I really didn't know her that well..because of the distance barrier..but I here things are okay..but they are using the dollar and it is really hard and expensive over there..which makes people desperate..

Completely...my bf\'s grandmother is going through the same thing coincidentally..but they had already gotten her a visa here and she had surgery and everything..they caught it in time...and she is in the states now from El Slavador...my grandmother lived a full life..so I can Thank God for that

I can also take care of Maximus... I have a baby girl named Maxi! :D She\'s only 5 months old so they are close in age. I live in the Financial District in Manhattan, so feel free to email me about it if you like. Everyone on yorkietalk is so nice :D I love how this site is non-sketchy :p
