Picture of yorkie with full tail 1 Attachment(s) I took this picture during my daughter's cheer camp. This boy was absolutely the sweetest thing and loved being around people. I've seen pictures of yorkies with tails but had never seen one up close. That tail would go 90 to nothing when people would come around. Here he is checking out the girl's routine! |
Sooooooo cute! Reminds me of my mothers cat!!:p |
How cute I never saw a full tail before. |
Awww!!! That yorkie is so cute! I love his tail! |
aww how cute kinda looks like a kitty lol |
OMG "Thanks" for posting that picture. :) I've never seen a Yorkie with a full tail before. He looks so intent on what he's watching. His tail does remind me of a cat's tail. :D |
Cute!! |
1 Attachment(s) my Rocky has a full tail which has been only trimmed. You can see it in the background curling up ill try to get a better pic for you guys |
That's neat!!! I always wondered what it would look like. Like others said it does remind me of a cat. |
Wow! Thanks for posting that! I have heard that yorks with full tails can knock something small's lights out! It is cute though! Cheryl (with Violet) |
Oh he is such a cutie! As some of the others have said...it DOES remind me of a cat, lol...;) Looks like my cat Brinkley's tail :p |
I don't think it's very cute for a yorkie to have a long tail. I like the little nub of a tail my Snooki has! But the long tail is natural; I think it's kind of cruel that they get chopped off.. :( |
1 Attachment(s) I posted this picture of CoCo last week but here it is again. Her tail is the cutest thing ever! |
HAHA! :D They do like much like cats, don't they?! Cute! Thanks for sharing..I've been curious about long tailed yorkies for awhile.. |
I have a yorkie with his full tail and I love it, Its is quite long and u can always tell hows he's feeling , you can read his tail , if you get what I mean, we were so glad we didn't get it docked. |
my yorkie has her long tail i live in england and its aganst the law to dock there tails here but i love it |
would show u all but carnt get my pictures as thumbnails to show you all dnt kno how to do it |
I too have a Yorkie with a tail. It's illegal to dock tails in Australia now. I did have a silky terrier as a child with docked tail though. |

The Biewer that we are getting has a tail somewhat like this. He is a doll; his body, ears, and coloring reminds me of my Khloe. (; Thanks for sharing! |
1 Attachment(s) This is an old thread; but Jackson has a full tail. :) |
I really, really like the full tail. It just adds to their expressiveness. |
I wish Teegy still had his, my neighbours Yorkie Lola still has hers and it's beautiful |
I love seeing Alfie's tail wagging away. I just love all yorkies fullstop.:) |
say it loud! , tails are fab!, should be banned everywhere, aflie wags on haha |
My Buzzy Boy's breeder cut his tail long...Probably about 1/2 the original length, and it is beautiful!!! He holds it straight up, and waves his "flag", so proudly...I wish my other two had the exact type tail... |
my Hazel has a full tail! |
I have both types, with and without tail....love them either way. But, I do have to admit, Razz's flag waving back and forth gets him a lot of attention...it's hard to miss!:D |
Aww! I love Yorkie tails. My guy has a docked tail, but I saw a Yorkie with a full tail for the first time at the dog park about a month ago. Love them! |
I am getting my new puppy on Wednesday. It is against the law in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island to have any cosmetic procedures down. As of April 1st of this year no vets are allowed to dock tails, dewclaws or ears on dogs. I was so happy to see what the yorkie was going to look like with a full tail. I think they are adorable. One thing I was wondering is how is this going to affect the people that show their dogs as this will not conform to the standard. |
