I can't contain myself any longer! :D

I have found a little girl and if all goes to plan i will be picking her up on the 6 september when she will be 13 weeks old as her breeder is getting all her inoculations done first.
She is costing me a small fortune, but i know she will be worth it! Her breeder is fantastic and has been showing and breeding for 45 years and shown at Crufts and all her dogs are very beautiful!
She was going to keep this little girl but she will be too small to show or breed from so decided to sell her as a pet only, she is keeping her brother to breed from. The mother is quite small and won't be having anymore litters now as she had to have a caesarian.
I had been emailing this lady for a few weeks and knew that she had a litter due 8 august and then a few days ago i saw that she was advertising this little bitch puppy and my heart just leaped! I emailed her not expecting her to still be available...but she was!
Her mother is called 'Storm' so the breeder has named her 'Sky'. (very apt with the weather we have been having!)
She has sent me some pics..which i will put on here as soon as i can ;)
I'm just soooo excited right now..for those of you that have maybe followed my story you will know that i had to let my baby Heidi go back in may after 14 years together and it just about broke my heart.
This new baby is giving me something to look forward to and my mood has lifted for the first time in weeks.
I even woke my hubby at 5am the other morning because i had thought of a name for her! :rolleyes: I feel like a small child at christmas!!
My hubby and i LOVE anything to do with Cornwall, We met and married down there, our son was born there and i bought my Heidi down there, so we have alot of connections with the area. We went for a holiday there in 2004 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and one day it is our dream to retire there back to where it all began! So anyway.....I love anything Cornish...and i love Cornish Pixies...so i thought the name PIXIE was very cute! what do you think?

aawww thanks yorkie friends! She's 7 weeks old now...the breeder always keeps them till 10 weeks and 13 weeks if you already have a dog in the house so she can get the pup inoculated first. She lives about 3 hours by car from me but she is visiting friends not too far from us at the end of august so she said we can pick her up from there instead so its not so far for us to travel!

She's sent me some lovely pics of her..but i'm not too hot on the computer so i will have to get hubby to help me out with putting them on here! :rolleyes:

She sounds perfect. I have a Pixie, I got her at 13 months from a great breeder and she had the name Stardust's Pixie Dust and she looks just like a Pixie(she's the one without the bow in my avatar) so we kept the name. Congratulations. Can't wait to see pics.

The breeder emailed these to me on the 23rd july..she's called her "Sky" as her mother is called "Storm". isn't she a cutie? :D

I'm so excited that i found her, I was waiting for the breeders litter to be born around the 8 august when i come across this little princess..and from the same breeder! I had already made up my mind that i wanted a pup from this lady as she is very experienced and reputable and i trust her. I was praying she wasn't already spoken for! Weird thing is..and i know it sounds a bit silly! but a couple of weeks ago i saw a shooting star and i wished that i would find my new baby soon..perhaps it worked! :D :aimeeyork

Your Pixie DOES look like a little Pixie! she's very sweet and she has a pretty little face! :)

Your Pixie is adorable. I love her face and I think she will look like my Pixie in the face when she matures. She is beyond cute. I definately think your wish came true.

I GOT HARVEY 12 MONTHS AFTER I LOST MY BENJIE WHO WAS 13.......... I STRUGGLED WITH THE DECISION FOR AGES, BUT I AM SO GLAD I DID GET HIM, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND HE GIVES US ALL SO MUCH PLEASURE. HE HAS MADE OUR FAMILY COMPLETE - AND IS JUST AS SPECIAL IN HIS OWN LITTLE WAY.....

Her breeder doesn't expect her to be any more than 3 and a half to 4lbs..she says she is too small to show or breed from..what weight should a bitch be to safely breed from then? was just curious to know!
She's keeping her brother for breeding though.
When i think my Heidi was 6lbs last time i weighed her..she was probably more like 5lbs as a young adult but she put a bit of weight on in her old age! and i thought she was little! 3-4lbs is not TOOOO tiny though, I would be worried sick if she was going to be any smaller.

She is sooooo Cute..
I love her name.

Yes her mother is very pretty!..she's called 'Chevawn Sheer Fascination' the breeder says Pixie is very much like her mother at that age, if she grows up to look like her mum i will be very happy!
The breeders dogs are all very beautiful though...she shows at Crufts every year. all her dogs coats are immaculate! :eek:
