Puppy Prison Break 4 Attachment(s) Prison Break at the Puppy Prison aka the "Kitchen" On Wednesday, July 18, a prison break occurred at the Puppy Prison in Small Town Mississippi. Background information: Mommy had gone to run some errands and left puppies in the puppy jail cell (the kitchen). Upon arrival at home, she immediately noticed something amiss. This is what she walked in on. Puppies on the back of the sofa looking out the window (in the family room—not the kitchen)! (pic 1--arrival of mom) Using her vast knowledge of crime scene investigations (from watching entirely too many crime dramas on TV), Mommy set out to find what had happened. She immediately noticed the prison cell door (child/puppy gate) was not opened or knocked down. Upon closer inspection, she saw what appeared to be a large, gaping HOLE in the bottom, right hand side of the gate. Someone had eaten his/her way out of the jail cell. (pics 2-4--crime scene photos1-3) Recreating the crime scene was the next order of business. Mommy put the escaped convicts, puppies, back into the kitchen with the gate still up. Using video surveillance, she was immediately able to ascertain who the culprit was that instigated the jailbreak! It was the newbie—Oscar! Mommy’s guess is that Emmy just followed him through the hole! (pics 1-3 next post--video surv1-3) Although Emmy continues to maintain her innocence in the crime, she was captured on surveillance video with her bag packed! (pic 4 next post--Emmy with bag) |

Will they be tried as jeuveniles? Give 'em a break judge! What ya' gonna believe, a lame old gate or your innocent little babies:p |
Juvenile delinquents, maybe! I can't even keep them in one room, now, until I go and buy another gate...any suggestions on what type to buy this time? Do they make them with metal bars!!!! |
I have the kind that's expandable across my front porch and it works really well. It's wooden and fits on hooks on either side. |
we have metal gates (white) that are spring-hinged so you don't have to actually drill them into your wall and they have a door on them as well, we got them at Babies R' Us forget the brand of them but they were like 49.99 and expand across big spaces (oversized doorways) as well. They work great for the puppies as well as children. (I live with my Mom, as I just graduated college and got a new puppy and my sister just had a baby so the gates serve a double purpose in our house) But they work great! |
Thanks for the smile :) you put on my face this morning after reading this post and seeing those adorable pictures of your little escaped convicts! Too cute for words. And the hell of it is...how can you get mad at these little ones? All they have to do is give you the puppy 'eyes' and that's all she wrote! I'm sure you'll find something that you can use to confine your little ones. Good luck! |
That was very cute and entertaining :p |
If you get a metal gate, be sure that the bars aren't too far apart. I bought one and installed it and Sadie got out between the bars just like nothing!!! :( |
that was too cute and funny!!!!!! they narration is great and the pictures are hillarious! I love the one with the bag :D thanks for sharing!!! |
What a cute story! I hope they did not eat any of the gate material. |
They are so cute.. And talk about team work.:D |

:lol tears :eyetearss Awh...Judge, cut them some slack! First time offenders generally always get off easy. Try getting an XPen - They are metal and fold down for easy storage when no longer needed. Thanks for the morning laugh! |
