OLD member reintroducing myself
 

Hi everyone!

I haven't posted since last year. I'll make a long story short. I was involved in a terrible house fire and have been without a computer until just recently. In my avitar you can see four of my precious babies. They are living with thier human daddy right now (I have visitation) but we are separated :( We both couldn't stand the though of splitting them up because of our separation so he ended up keeping them all together. I now live in a small apartment and was not able to take all four of them with me. After many tears and wondering whether or not I had make the right decision, my husband decides he would buy me a new yorkie. He didn't want to split up our four either so we decided that this would be best. She is a beautiful little girl named Zoey and she is almost three years old and weighs just under four pounds. She is healthy and spunky :) I just got her three days ago and it seems like I have had her forever. I'll post pics as soon as I get me a new digital camera. I'm slowly trying to replace everything I had since the fire.

I still recognize some of the names on here and have been lurking about and reading up on all the post for the last month or two wishing I had a yorkie of my very own again so I could post and be part of the group again, and here I am. It's great to be back! I love all five of my little babies and am looking forward to sharing my experences with you all again. I hope someone remembers me:D

You probably stopped posting before I became a member so I just wanted to say hi and I cant wait to see your new girl. I am sorry things havent been going to well for you but hopefully with your new baby that will start to change and get back to normal soon. I cant wait to see pictures of her and your others are too cute also.

Awww, so sorry to hear about all you've been through. It sounds like you and hubby are still friends. What a hard decision you had to make concerning your pups. That was sweet of him to get you a new baby, even though I know you must miss the others. The new one can't replace the others but I'm sure this baby has a way of filling in the empty place. Congrats and welcome back!

Welcome back! i'm currently having the same problem as you..my ex and i split up and we have joint custody of two of my little yorkies! i feel your pain!

Thanks you all for the very warm welcome back! I do remember Chachi and Megan but I hate to start naming names as I have a terrible memory but it's nice to be remembered by any of you :) It has been a rough 8 months for me but things are starting to settle down. And yes, me and the husband are still friends. It hasn't been easy but I'm trying my best to keep it that way. I do and have missed my four babies terribly but am adjusting and loving the new addition very much!!! Looking forward to getting back in the groove on here:animal36

Hi Lenora! I remember you too :) Glad to see you and the familiar names...After losing nearly everything I had it's so nice to have something I used to have. Had a little trouble getting my yorkietalk account back to active but that finally straighted out too, thank goodness!!! It's been lonely reading the posts from you all and not being able to reply!!!

Welcome back! So sorry about all the problems you've had. I know YT will cheer you up. Congratulations on your new baby....that's the best medicine to get your mind off things.

Hi how are you? I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your house and your divorce. You could have come in here and talked to us even if you did not have your new baby yet,you are very welcomed here! Now we want to see pics of your new baby!

Welcome home! I am so very sorry to hear about all of your trials and tribulations. I hope with they addition of Zoey to your home you will truly begin to heal. It is so wonderful that even though you and your husband are separated, that you are trying to do what is best for the furkids.

Welcome back and congratulations on the new yorkie!! I hope you still get to see your other yorkies often. I know that has to be hard. Would love to see pics of the new addition!!

For those who don't know:
 

For those of you who don't know, Bentley and Bitsy accidently had puppies and we kept two of them, Bailey and Charlie......that's how I ended up with four. It's a little yorkie family all in itself. We couldn't stand to separate either of them. I've had Bailey and Charlie over to spend the night for the weekend, but I could clearly tell they missed the others when they were here:( Broke my heart, but I miss them all so much! Zoey (my new yorkie), on the other hand, was around a lot of yorkies that were bigger than her and she was picked on:( She has attached herself to me really quickly and we have bonded already in just three days!

I fixed her chicken and rice for dinner today cause she has an upset tummy....probably stress, but she follows me wherever I go. She ate a big helping of it and now her little belly is pudging out, lol! I think she is glad to be the only dog of the house. She barks when I go outside without her and she's really attached to me already. That's been good for me :) It's nice to be needed.

OMG, there you are!! You stood out distinctly in my memory! Didn't want to drop your name cause I know you are big cookies around here and I didn't want to boast:D I was glad to see you are still here and posting!!! I've been reading your posts, LOL!:D

It really is a new life....one I'm having to start from scratch, but that's ok! I also have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder so I've had some health issues but I'm trying to work through it and keep a positive attitude. So sweet of you to remember me! I think I remembered you most cause you had the most posts when I last saw you, LOL!

I am so glad you have little Zoey, and sorry to hear about the fire. I'm sure I'll be seeing you around YT.

I can't believe anyone remembers me, LOL! I love yorkietalk~ my sister had a westie that she was not really happy with. She had a Scottie already and had the westie given to her. She let me try it last week with the Westie because I was dogless.....I cried all day long for my yorkies. The Westie was a good dog, and cute, but my heart cries for yorkies. I gave her back to my sister and we are still looking for a home for her.

There is a westie website that has the same setup it looks like as Yorkietalk, but it's not NEAR as active. I went on it when I had the Westie and got even more depressed. Yorkietalk is different.

What a terrible ordeal you have been thru. Losing a home and a husband. I do hope things are turning around for you now. CAn't wait to see pictures of your new little fur-girl. She sounds adorable.
