Had I that option, that's the one I would've gone with too! :) I totally understand both sides of this and under normal circumstances would never have handled it the way I did. I often stay home with Toto rather than have to leave her alone and the thing that makes me feel really good ... Patrick usually opts to stay home with us!! ;)
Thank you Deborah and Judy ... I would have loved to be snugged up with my Mother & Toto in her den watching old AMC John Wayne movies all day on a Saturday! We did that a lot and although some of them were "new" to her ... I would always smile to myself and tell her "this does look like a good one" and watch "The Sons of Katie Elder" again!! :p
