Calling all owners of baby dolled faced yorkies..... If you own one of the precious babies with a shorter nose I would love to know who the breeder was if you dont mind of course you can contact me via pm if you'd like or email. I have been looking all over the internet for that perfect short nosed female with thick coat. Thanks in advance:) |
2 Attachment(s) Not my baby but this is my parent's yorkie, Rylie. He has a short little muzzle and a thick coat. He's such a sweetie and so adorable. His breeders aren't breeding anymore. Just wanted to share pictures of him |
short nose female Miniville Yorkies has great short nosed puppies. My female is from there....she just had her first litter of puppies yesterday...two healthy little boys! Here is a link to my website if you would like to see what she looks like. http://charmedyorkies.com/about.html |

Oh gosh, MyFairLacy! He's a cutie! I never knew that there were such thing as a ''shorter'' nose on a yorkie, now I see and I think it's soo adorable! |
short?? 2 Attachment(s) Is this short??? Not sure what you mean...but here are my babies....Diggy and Bella |
When I was looking I was so confused by the advertising. Some said "baby doll face" and others advertised "teddy bear face". To me they all looked the same. Adorable. |
well I would tell you my mom but she is not breeding anymore Daisy was from her last litter. Good luck with your search. and if you talk to jenn218 her Mojo is the perfect babyface i think :) |
I got my yorkie from Seaside yorkies in Florida. He definitley has the small teddy bear/baby doll face. Good luck! They are so cute because they look like puppies forever. |
1 Attachment(s) I think that London has a baby doll face. If you want I can tell you where I got her. Just PM me |

Where do you live? I have a baby doll face little boy, his breeder was in Texas. In fact she has a little boy with a baby doll face now for sale!!! |
3 Attachment(s) Here is Archie -- I think he is "short-nosed," I've also been told he is "short and cobby" in his body type. He came from a great Illinois breeder. If interested, PM me and I can give you her name. |
1 Attachment(s) Here are my two. If interested PM me & I can give you some info on them. |
1 Attachment(s) Here is Sophie.... I got her from a breeder in Caddo, OK. Knowing what i know now I wouldnt recommend her to anyone though. BUT.... I just HAD to take this opportunity to share her pics once again!!! :p |
I just have to ask Does my Little Bit in my avatar have a baby doll or teddy bear face?? I don't really know. I think she is perfect but I couldn't in good conscience really recommend her breeder. Maybe I shouldn't say that because she seems to be healthy at 18 months. Its just that I got her at 9 weeks and 13 oz. and from all I've read on here that was way too young and too small and she did have coccidia. |
betty and page 2 Attachment(s) these are my girls they are littermates they both have short noses piglets is shorter countrygirl has a litter right now ... do you know what Tinker CholenadJ yorkie looks like? |

Just remember that the terms "baby doll" and "teddy bear" are made up terms so there isn't really a definition for either. To me it seems like they would both mean the exact same thing though - as even a teddy bear has a short little nose...never seen a teddy bear with a long nose (except the really old style ones). I think breeders use both of these to mean a short muzzle. |
OK I just did the stupidest thing I actually measured my dog's nose. Little Bit weighs right at 5 lbs. and her nose from the stop to the tip is 1 inch long. After you quit laughing, could you tell me if that is short? I mean how long is a Yorkie nose "supposed" to be?:questione Quote:

I really don't know how long it is supposed to be. I guess it depends on the individual dog and what is proportionate for their body. I don't know enough about Yorkie comformation to be able to tell you the typical length of a yorkie muzzle. This is all the AKC standard says about it: Head Small and rather flat on top, the skull not too prominent or round, the muzzle not too long, with the bite neither undershot nor overshot and teeth sound. Either scissors bite or level bite is acceptable. The nose is black. Eyes are medium in size and not too prominent; dark in color and sparkling with a sharp, intelligent expression. Eye rims are dark. Ears are small, V-shaped, carried erect and set not too far apart. I think Lacy's nose is a little longer than average...maybe? I think the shorter muzzles are very cute and give them that baby-like expression. |
Thanks, maybe some of you with "Yorkie" experience or that know yours have baby doll noses could tell me? Everybody now, get out of bed at almost 2 a.m. and go measure your doggies' noses for me;) |
HaHa...I would say an inch is pretty short so I think you're probably safe to say yours has a "baby doll" face. |
I have one of each--"baby-doll/teddy bear" face and the regular nose! They are both too cute! |
I just wanted to say to everyone who posted their yorkie's pics.. they are SO FREAKIN ADORABLE!!! awwww!! if i do get another yorkie, im definitely PMing you guys! :D |
