YT Addict | Barking Problem I just can't figure it out! Okay so, LulaBelle has always barked at ppl that are walking by the house or at other dogs she wants to play with, or if she wants something. That is just her way of letting me know somethings. I understand that. Lately she has gotten in to the habbit of standing on the floor looking at either me or my husband and just barking excessivly. I have tried everything toys, walks, treats, more playtime, more cuddle time, you name it but she just keeps barking. I feel bad b/c she has this look on her face like she is so frustrated but I just can't figure out what she wants from me. I feel like a bad mommy. My husband and I get frustrated after a while of listening to her just barking and barking and barking. I just don't know what she wants. Like I said I feel bad b/c she obviously wants something but I just can't figure it out. BTW This is a new habbit that has started just this past week and a half. Any advice would be greatly appreciate. |

| I have no idea. Lexie only does this to Siris and it's usually b/c she wants him to get up and chase her. If you've tried everything you can think of I'm at a loss.

| What I am trying w/that situation is : When she barks at me I turn my back and walk FAR away from her. When she is quiet, I say good shush, and I treat. It's been working okay so far! |

| I think LulaBelle and my Tucker were separated at birth or something. This is the EXACT same situation we are dealing with and we are stumped, too.

This is good advice. By trying to give Lulabelle what she's asking for, I'm afraid that you've been accidentally reinforcing her barking.
