Some people are just rude, so don't let it get to you. Your baby is beautiful! |
I wish I could've been there with my 9 pound, black cotton coated, flop earred, long legged, full blooded Otis. I'm sure she'd have had a mouthful about him. I'd have said, he's a STAR in my eyes, baby! Cham-p-ion!! |
I know what you mean! Once when hubby and I were on vacation, we took Maggie for a walk and a lady came to me and said that she had a chi and it was 5 yrs old and much smaller than Maggie (at the time Maggie was almost 4lb) , and she went on and on saying how cute her dog was and how small it was... I got really annoyed but didn't gave her any answer and walked away... Some ppl are just plain stupid & rude... :thumbdown |

Understand your pain. Ozzie is a teahouse at 14 pounds, so if I had $1 for every time someone has asked if he's a mix, and THEN asked me if I'm SURE when I say "no," ... I'd be sprawled on the beach in the Caribbean and typing with one hand so the other could grip my Margarita!:D |
Awww Roxie is adorable! Don't let what that woman said upset you. Some people feel a need to belittle others to make themselves feel good. Besides, Yorkies are like people, they come in all shapes, sizes and colors and they are still wonderful Yorkies. :D My little Eury is almost 4 months and is just under 2 lbs and I'm glad she's still young and growing. I want her nice and healthy. :) :aimeeyork Chelle |
She's gorgeous, she's standard, and her mother loves her! I think you ran into a bit of a nut, and she cracked a bit. :) |
She sounds like a real nut. First she wants to mate hers with your little sweetie, and then she's questioning the breed and size? She's a real beauty and exactly the right size! |
She is adorable! I love that little face! I just ignore people like that!:) |
Some people are just rude and your girl is small even for a yorkie or at the very least average. Too bad your baby was sick or you could have said "oh no....2.5 lbs....no wonder you are in to see the doctor. I heard the runts always have more problems than the normal size ones like my baby". Sorry not to offend people with tinys but the people that think their little tiny ones are superior to normal size yorkies need to be educated that 2.5 is not a normal size for a yorkie. |
hey... she is BEAUTIFUL! dont let the turkeys get you down... d |
Correct me if I am wrong but 4.2 lbs is in know way big! I think Roxee is a perfect size. |
Oh ya your little Roxie is HUGE! 4.2 lbs WOW! THATS GIGANTIC! (if you didnt notice, i was being sarcastic) LoL My little Bailey is 1.9lbs and when I see a 4 or 5 lb yorkie I still think they are way small! I mean common 5 lbs! Most dogs, heads weigh more than that! By the way your baby is such a cutie! |

Cute Yorkie. I noticed when you decline to breed your dog, I've been offered too, people get so pissy. I remember I said no to someone once and they said "Why, is she a mix?" I said, "No, but I'm not surprised you've never seen a Yorkie of this quality before." :p |
