Papi had asked if we would share some of our special times of pleasure to treasure with our pets till he is able to get back to posting so I will do that in this posting. Hope others will join in. One of my special times with Baby Blessing is her bath time, she loves it, loves being blow dried and will stick one paw up at a time to get dried and hold her head back so I can dry under and around her neck, then she wants to snuggle to Jack. She takes in his bragging how pretty she smells and looks:) Baby Blessing is more of a serious dog, really she is. She loves her bows and frilly clothes and knows right where the drawer is that they are kept. One of the special moments with DollieDae is bedtime, I have to hold her and snuggle with her for at least 15 minutes before she will go to bed at night, she likes sleeping in her crate at the foot of the bed and yeppers she wants it on our king size bed, she is right there below my feet, now and again I feel a lick on my toes through the door, then she ruffs up her blankie to get it comfy and off to sleep for the night. If I'm not in bed she won't go to sleep, and she is up till I call it a day, spoiled little girl she is, LOL. DollieDae is our funny little girl she is always doing something to make us laugh. Another funny thing that she does, she gets into a run positon and freezes in postion then moves in a very slow motion at first, then watch her go :) another is when she don't want her food she tries to cover it with her nose. We are looking forward to getting a new little girl before long, and we know we will have many many moments of pleasure to treasure with her too. Our Cassie's whole life was nothing but moments to treasure and we are so thankful God blessed us with her. Truthfully, I can't think of one unpleasant time with any of our girls. What a beautiful gift God gave us with our yorkies. Papi we look forward to when you and PattiCake are back, prayers for a speedy healing and recovery. We pray that it will be real soon. You are missed by everyone. Hugs from the both of us, Patti and Jack |
There is one thing that Winston does, that I've not seen another dog do. Every time any one says "I LOVE YOU", he'll roll over onto his side with his tiny little furry paws in the air. We have never taught him this, he just does it...and he'll do it every time, no matter what else he might be doing. I guess it's his way of being submissive, it's very cute indeed, because we tell him I LOVE YOU often. Maybe he's trying to say I LOVE YOU TOO... |
I will share a thing or two that mine do. This is so funny and gets us all laughing every time. Mickey and Minnie when I clean The kitchen. All most every time I sweep the kitchen Mickey will run around the floor, trying to get me to play with him with the broom, he will bark and run around all happy faced, I allways say No Mommys sweeping and Minnie will run in trying her best to get Mickey out of the kitchen for me, Some times she just chases him and oh how he loves that, But if he stays in she will grab him by his leg and pull him out. Its so funny . A Kiss on the cheek Mickey is such a sweet heart. He loves giving kisses, But when you go to kiss him he will tilt his little head and hold it close so you can kiss him on the cheek. I love when he does that, its so sweet. Up The nose Minnies my Lap baby. wants to be help 24/7 Shes not much of a kisser, but when she does its a quick lick up the nose, so you got to watch out for her lol. The Ball. Minnies fav toy is the ball, she loves for me to throw it and she brings it back every time, some times jumping and catching it in her mouth, Mickey always sits on the side and waits for his chance to grab her ball, When he beats her to it he wont bring it back, he wants us to chase him while he has it in his mouth. Minnie will cry for her ball and wait for her chance to grab it back. But he never brings it back, instead he will take it in and drop it in the water bowl. lol They keep us laughing every day, what would we do with out them. |
Dixie: when we go out in the yard, the furbabies go in the xpens unless there on a leash ( our yard isnt fenced in and probobly wont be till next year) anyway when we first put dixie in hers, she is up on her back legs walking up and down the xpen, you would swear she was a little human, she looks so cute doing this, makes us smile and just look at her. she is starting to not mind bows and barrettes inher hair, the other day after she got dressed and her hair was brushed, she was kinda prancing, omg i couldnt get my camera on fast enough i missed getting it, but looked so darn cute! Peanut: if he barks too much i say Quiet and he stops, or if he and Max are playing too rough, i say to both stop it! they just look at me and do it again, so i now use a water spray bottle while im saying quiet, or no.. or stop it ..well now all i have to do is grab that bottle and Peanut runs, stops and looks at me like " well are you gonna do it?" its so cute and when I do do it, he rubs against anything he can to dry himself what little water gets on him lol then looks at me like ha ha I got it off now dont do it again lol they are so cute when being naughty lol |
horay for you a new yorkie to love!!! I had a friend who flew hers yorkie in carry case fit right under seat. What they do now since 9/11 I don't know. Do post what they say I'd be curious.. have a nice one. |
OK, I'll share a few with you about my Deucy. He understands everything I say. I just cannot get over how smart he is! When I tell him "mom has to run to town to get...blah blah...but I'll be RIGHT BACK"...he looks at me and tilts his head until I'm through talking. Then, he realizes I'm going to be gone at least 30 minutes (it's that far to town), so he just lays down and gets comfortable. As I'm driving out the drive, I look at the window and he is looking out at me driving off. As SOON as I unlock the door to return..upon entering, I always say "Where's my baby?"...if I've been gone over 45 min to 1 hour, he is laying on the floor and when he sees me he rolls over on his back and starts kicking his back legs like CRAZY. He is JUST TOO EXCITED TO EVEN MOVE and OH MY GOSH...I go over to him slowly and get down on his level to get ALL THOSE KISSES....you'd think I'd been gone days! Another thing: he loves bathtub and the dryer. He always goes to sleep and SNORES as I'm trimming him, etc...even around his little eyes and ears..He SNORES SO LOUD...I laugh and laugh...then he gives me sweet kisses because I've woke him up ...and goes back to sleep and SNORES again until I'm done. As SOON as I say "you're done, baby"...He gets up, shakes, and takes out like a greyhound racing around the track....except he does it in the house into every room under and over and it is SO FUNNY!!!!!! He wants me to play too..so we do. I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEARTand ALL OF MY BEING |

Papi is going to love reading all these Thanks everyone for posting about your babies, what fun times we have with them. Papi will enjoy reading all your posts when he is able to get back to YT. We all hope that is real soon. Brenda, everyone is so happy and thankful Papi was able to get Deucy's little girl, she sounds a lot like her Daddy according to what Papi has told Jack and I. With all the love you gave each of yours, it shows in your puppies too. What a special lady you are and a friend you are to us now. Sending a (((((((((((big hug to you Brenda)))))))))))from Jack and myself. Hope there will be many more postings about others babies, we've sure enjoyed reading about yours and know others have and Papi will be delighted to read about them. Night everyone, prayers that Papi will be back here posting soon. We don't know when his surgery is going to be. We will let you all know as we hear anything from him or his daughter. Patti and Jack |
Aaah.... I just finished reading all the updates on Papi - have not been on my computer last few days. I am just so happy that he does not have to have open heart surgery.... I have no words to describe my absolute relief. :D:D:DThe procedure he is going to have done instead, he will recover from very quickly and will have a LOT more energy once those aneurysms have been dissolved. Patti, I am SO excited for you that you will be adopting a baby girl!!!!!:teeth: How lucky that little angel is to find a forever home with you and Jack. I cannot think of a more loving, nurturing environment for a puppy to grow up in. It is just so adorable the way you describe Baby Blessing's little performance when she is going through her "beauty routine", sticking out one little paw at a time as if she is the lady of the house having a manicure...TOO cute!! I Just wish my naughty rascal, Mango would learn such good manners. She did graduate from "Obedience School", but for sure they passed her on the cuteness factor alone. She was too busy bouncing and zooming around the class to learn really, much of anything. She has a particularly cute routine when I tell her, "Mango wanna go out with Mommy?" First she will do her little happy dance that we call the "Mango Tango", then :woof:she will run to the place where the brushes are kept, because she knows Mommy always brushes her before leaving. However, in order to submit to this, she insists on chewing one or two brushes, which have to be on the floor in front of her, while Mommy combs her coat. Then, the VERY second her "beautifying" is complete, she zooms over like Speedy Gonzales, right into her doggy bag (which is open on the floor),:animal37 going at SUCH a demented speed, that usually the bag flips over, Mango and all. No matter how many times this happens, the little stinker just does not get it, will repeat the same "zoomy" before the next outing, and will once again be somersaulting inside her bag. She most often then jumps out and growls at the bag, as if reprimanding IT for bad behavior. TOOOO funny to watch. I could just eat her right up.... my funny little demented girl. Hugs to all, Lauren:ghug: |
Come on everybody...tell Papi your Yorkie moments, Lauren...I'm sure your story about Mango has put a smile on his face (it did mine)!!! What a rowdy little thing you have. Winston says "hi Papi", with a slurp!!! I can't wait to hear more pleasures to treasure about Patticake. Hugs!!! |
Hey Kathy!!! How ya doin' girlfriend. Next time li'l Winston rolls over when you tell him you love him, PLEASE rub his tummy for me.....I'll bet that's why he rolls over in the first place.....:p Hugs, Lauren:) |
1 Attachment(s) Patti---YOU are the special lady. WE are all fortunate to know such a loving, genuine person. Thank you for remembering me. The poem you wrote just touches my heart so. It is hung right here at my computer so I see it every day. (((((((HUGS))))))) from DEUCY AND ME!!! |
