OH...THANK GOD....everything is looking much better now. I'm so glad to hear and thank you Patti for always keeping us informed. Update On Papi Hi Yorkie Talk Family, We have phoned Papi several times but no answer, he just isn't up to talking, he has been through a lot. I phoned his daughter just prior to posting this. One of his daughters or his grandaughter is taking turns staying with him all the time. He hasn't been on the computer to get any of his messages. Even though Papi's release from the hospital was quite soon (we all know too well how quick they are to get us out of there) especially with Medi Care patients :( but then again one wants to be able to leave as quickly as one can, much better to recoup at home. As the Dr.s said, it is major surgery and it will take weeks for him to be feeling stronger. I wish it hadn't taken them so long to schedule his surgery, as that was really hard on him, waiting, waiting then some :( He is coming along fine but it is slow going, Papi needs all our prayers and to those that do have a mailing address, we are sure even just a letter or a note to him would really help to boost his spirit, you all are so special to him. I asked his daughter if PattiCake is helping him and she said, "Oh yes, and laughed, she is being her adorable self." She is hemmed to her Papi and yes, God certainly knew the need for this little one being placed in his arms. Thank you Brea and Lori for that long trek back there to Pa. to place this little fur bundle of love in Papi's arms to help his healing and gave him back so much that he lost in loosing Kassie. Elaine bless you and your family there for all you did for Papi, many times in our conversations with him he marveled about how wonderful being with you all that special day in his life, and how caring everyone here has been to him, his love for Yorkie Talk and how thankful he was to have found you all and this site. Thank you to each and everyone that has had a part in the "Papi Train, Happy Train" and all your prayers, for being such wonderful people, your love shown to Papi has helped him tremendously. God Bless each of you. Jack and I will update you as we hear from his daughter. I told her to tell Papi hello from all of us, please keep his daughters and grandaughter in your prayers. Papi, I have added a pic of my new addition for you to see, her name is Phoebe. you would like her alot since you really liked Max :) and i have a little story about peanut and phoebe.. yesterday they were all playing here, they had all there toys out and were sharing so nice..all of a sudden I hear Peanut barking so loud , then phobe, I looked over and he and phoebe stopped cold in front of my china cabinet aside of my desk and were barking at there own reflection in the glass lol for about 3 minutes, I just left them go, i didnt say a word, there little heads were cocked one way, then the other, lol I had to laugh, it really did look adorably cute :) prayers, hugs and puppy kisses to you sweet Papi....... |

Papi, I have been worried and wondering about you and Patticake. Is everything going as planned after your procedure??? I hope you are getting your strength back...so you can keep up with Patticake. And I hope she's taking good care of you, with lots and lots of snuggles and kisses. What can I say...I miss you and your posts about Patticake. I hope you will be able to get back on YT as soon as possible...I really think it would be good for your spirits. Message from Papi Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let you know that Papi is coming along all right, it is going to take some time in getting his strength back,he needs lots of our prayers especially in regaining his strength. His Dr.'s say it will just take time. That was a mighty big procedure and all three taken care of at the same time. Thankfully his daughters and grandaughter is close by to help him, one is with him all the time for awhile. What a blessing they are. As was said before," PattiCake is being her adoreable little self, she is hemmed to her Papi." We can be assured she is helping take real good care of him, hugs to you PattiCake from all of us folks here at YT. He is aware and grateful for everyone posting to his thread, with hopes you all will share your moments to treasure with your yorkie's till he is able to be back sharing all his with PattiCake. Papi,we're All Looking Forward To Hearing From You. We came to Papi's thread with hopes that Papi was back posting but we guess he still isn't up to using the computer yet. He said as soon as he felt stronger and better he would be back here telling us many many happy times with PattiCake. Wanted to share something funny about DollieDae. She is not one that likes to be cuddled and doesn't want to sleep with us. Sooooo, this is her wants, (she refuses to go to bed at night until I do) I put her crate on the foot of my bed, I put my toes into the door of her little crate and after she licks my toes then she scrambles her blankie all up in her crate and goes to sleep for the night. LOL. It's amazing the different personalities of our two. Baby Blessing on the other hand wants attention, attention all the time. She loves to be cuddled, and she is so attatched to Jack I tell her to give Daddy a kiss and she goes and licks the tip of his nose every time :) Since you wanted us all to share some happenings with our yorkies till you are back Papi. Hope these give you a chuckle. Oh yes, must tell you I think DollieDae has the legs of Esther Williams (great swimmer, know you remember her) and the body of Twiggy and Jack says the ears of Bugs Bunny :) (she is so tiny and her little head with those tall standing ears just really puts a smile on ones face. ) anyway thought when you read this it would give you a chuckle. I do believe sometimes laughter can be the best medicine. Hope you are back real soon Papi, being your jolly ole self and posting to everyone all the fun things about you with your PattiCake.
