I know what dial up is all about, that is what I had till last October. Just had an idea, can you get you tube, will it play better for you there? Papi has this on you tube also. Please let me know. Regardless, I will be happy to try and get those on cd's for you. By the way, all those lovely things you put together for us and also Papi was beautiful. I just stopped in to say Hello, always enjoy seeing pictures of Patticakes, hope your computer troubles are over soon. My JD has been sick, but I think he's doing better this morning, hopefully we get a walk in before the rain moves our way. You two have a nice one!!

It has been a long time since I have been on YT and I was so pleased to see you had posted these videos of PattiCake.
I adore her. She is so cute and well trained.
I am glad you are feeling better and are able to take PattiCake for such a nice long walk.
Please post more pictures and videos of her. She has grown so much and looks so well cared for.

How much does she weigh now and how old is she exactly?

I am AWFUL! I am just now seeing all these communications from Papi FROM BACK IN AUGUST! (*blushing* from embarrassment from both my neglect of this thread and at all of Papi’s incredibly kind words.) :eek:

But, I’m taking it as an early Christmas present. It means the world to me to know that Papi has this beautiful canine companion:aimeeyork with him and that I got to play the tiniest of parts in it. :)

YT is the best! Here's hoping that Papi is back online again soon. I promise to keep checking ...

Hello all my Yorkie friends,

Just a brief update if you will to let you know we haven't forgotten your love, your kindness and patience.

I finally felt up to taking a few images and enclosing two taken today of Patticake to let everyone know she is doing very well, and such a precious companion, she has bottomed out at whopping 7 lbs. the fat lil thing, and I call her Tubby Puppy, of course she doesn't like it as girls are very sensitive about their weight.

Please forgive me for my long absence, I haven't purposely intended to slighted nor ignore you, anyone, it's just been a long tough haul, and yes still not my old self sadly.

Patticake and I sincerely appreciate and thank you so much for your undeserved love and kindness.
A special thank you goes out to Patti and Jack, I'm sorry.

Hi Papi, It's so good to see you posting. Hope you are feeling better. It's really funny, a week or so ago Brenda emailed me asking if I had seen you and had pictures of Patticake-so strange. The meeting I used to go to has been moved to No Brunswick instead of New Brunswick but I hope to stop by someday when the weather gets warmer. So good to see you on here again

PAPI and PATTICAKE !!!! Deucy and I are so VERY happy to see a few pictures and a post from you!!

We even watched the videos again of the "walk". I just love the way Pattycake is so well behaved.

I can't believe she weighs 7 pounds!!! The little piglet.....lol. She's gorgeous and we sure miss her. Deucy is doing great and such a protector. he actually tried to bite someone that came into my house...protecting me of course. He is now 4 and weighs 4.25 pounds. Such a BLESSING to have him in my life. Post when you can. We will be watching!!!!

Hello my Yorkie friends,

Yes it has been a very long time, where, how are we, what's been going on in Patticake's life and mine, must momentarily take a backburner at this time, I can say this, Patticake is very well, weighs 6.2 lbs. me, I'm doing fair.

Sadly as many of you have been informed already, and we just found out from Connie, Patti & Jack, a dear friend to all of us here on Yorkie Talk and the Patticake thread, is facing a dire, troubling time in her life.

I was disheartened, my heart sank as I know your's did also upon hearing of Janie's circumstance, I honestly don't want to say it, it saddens me to say but Jane has ovarian cancer in last stage's from what I was told, I wish, hope this information wrong, and there's still hope.

What to do, what does one say at a time like this, how do we give comfort to Janie ?

I imagine we can individually and collectively contiue to support, to love her, give comfort, and solace in whatever way we possibly can, are capable of, after all we are only human souls, we are limited sadly, which one of us if only we had the power of the Supreme One (God) would not extend our hand, reach out, touch her with a finger, and heal Janie's cancer, we can't.

We can only pray for our dear friend Janie, help comfort, support her whatever way we can in this trialsome time in her life, and I'm sure many of you have for sometime now.

Why am I here after all this time ? I am here because of all the love I have been shown by my patient Yorkie Talk friends, for Patticake.

I'm here to pay forward

I'm here for Janie as you are.

Please if anyone here is now engaged in a support criteria for Jane please contact me, I would also like to help.

I appreciate your warm welcome though as you, and many friends who came to know Janie, saddened at the circumstances which brought me back here, yet sincerely thank you for letting me know our dear Janie is under going a trialsome period in her life, and how important it is to give back the love Janie has always given us, and this community. -------------- I am humbled to hear, and never knew Janie came to Yorkie Talk because of my thread but the truth is our thread you and all the friends here on the Patticake Train that drew Janie to join (love begets love) she was/is of the same heart as all the friends in this thread, that's what I believe brought Janie here, her own heart, warmth, kindness, and compassion which impelled her to seek those like, and who expressed the same loving kindness, concern for other's ---------------- Yes! that's what I believe ---------------------

I haven't been on YT for so long. Today, through email I got a message that you had posted. After reading the other posts, I realized the Janie is very ill. I had no idea. I will be praying for her and thinking of her. Is there anyway we can get to her FB page and leave our thoughts, comfort her in some way??

Bad news on my end. PTSD, Panic Disorder w/agoraphobia, degenerative disc disease, and a host of other ailments are getting the better of me. I can no longer work and drs. adviced filing for disability. I did that and was last Friday that a decision has been made. I'm praying for a favorable one. It's been a rough (to say the least) last year and especially the last few months with no income. But as long as I have Deucy and God, I know I will make it. God has already sent me SO many angels to help when I need it!!! THANK GOD.

Patti, please call when you have time. I still have no long distance but if you do, my phone is 620-724-6423. I had to move again last year to my current place. It's an old gas station, brick that was made into a little house. One thing Deucy started doing the other day...at age 7 now, is chewing on cords!! I don't know why he started this but now, I unplug every cord if I have to leave the house to care for Mom at the nursing home. When it is unplugged, the answering maching doesn't come on and it just rings and rings on your end. I always plug it back in as soon as I get back home.
