I just returned home and am checking in here. I found earlier a VERY INFORMATIVE website with tons of information on retrieving lost and stolen pets. For instance, they give lists of places that you should leave flyers, people/services that should get them, everyone from postmen, to garbage collectors, road crews,florists.... the list goes on and on, but is VERY COMPREHENSIVE. Laurenr do you have any free time to help Judyeve, do a summary of this post so that it can be used for a PI, Newspaper Spot, TV. spot, or a letter to the editor, and we can also give it to the lawyer, and see what she can do with it, so we don't keep repeating ourselves, and keep everyone on the same page. Judy needs some help, and I suggested you and Daisy Mae06, Judy can fill you in on the details, she asked what she could do, and I thought it would be nice to organize this forum from the beginning to the end, in the event we could post it on a seperate thread for VIEWING ONLY, and the three of you could keep updating, so if someone wants to know what has been done, or we need it for a PI it will be all together with no repetes, and everyone that reads it from this forum can be on top of it right away instead of having to go through the whole thread. It could also attract many other viewers who may want to contribute, and wants to know what has been done and what needs to be done. What do you think, at the least can you pm Juny and let her know if you can help. Many Thanks Donna Jean, I will contact Daisy Mayo6 and ask her to also help so Judy does not go blind, and I can be done so much faster if it were split up. She is on page 19 so far. If you can't do you know of anyone else that may be interested that has been asking to help? This is a big work week for me, and I can only post in the am early and late in the pm. Many thanks!

Also are their any volunteers who would like to help Judyeve do a summary of this forum, so we can have a place to view what has been done and what needs to be done, so we are all on the same page and there are no repetes, please just read the above post for the details and PM Judyeve if you are available for some help. This way it can be done 3 times as fast, and it would be very useful for a letter to the editor, to give to the lawyer who wanted to help us, and for t.v. exposure, and maybe a radio story. at the least a tribute to Keke and getting him returned home and into the loving arms of his family!

I just finished reading Pet Theft Prevention Tips Handout, and Finding Lost and Stolen pets, It is wonderful information Laurenr, and I will be adding this to the folder when I sell a puppy as a preventaive! You have done so much remarkable things on this site I have to hand it to you and thank you so much, for all you have done. The above every one in this forum should copy and have in the prevention of Pet Theft, and also finding their pet if lost or Stolen. Such great information!!!!!

Has Maureen heard back from the detective after he contacted the Walmart about viewing the Sunday footage? I left a message with walmart before I left on Friday. I intend to follow up on Monday, but do not want to put undue pressure on the manager if the police are already working with him or if he has already agreed to help law enforcement.

I know the detective said he had been off of work for the 4 dasy precedding his latest contact with Maureen, so there should have been no reason that he wasn't following up on this matter this weekend.

Maureen, I want you to know that over 400 people in the modesto area have viewed this myspace profile and over 100 have already added him as a friend, almost all of them are in the modesto area, and I have about 500 pending friends requests for people in modesto as well, so lots and lots of people in your area have seen his page! Everytime I have a free minute at work I am sending friends requests. I really think the person that had the myspace idea had a great idea! We are reaching a whole different age group. Its only a matter of time before we get a new promising lead! KEEP THE FAITH!
