The greatest news ever, Scott has just been so wonderful in everything he has been doing to help you get ZEKE home, without him you would be nowhere, The man is an Angel sent from up above.

I hope Officer Nickerson will not do anything to screw this up!!!!! He is pretty good at taking the easy way out!!!!!!!

Sorry I didn't call last night, but I knew you were sick, and I was really under the weather, so I took the whole night off and was in bed by 8:30, I snuggled with my little pooky pot, and today she seems more energitic, she did have a B12 shot, so that could have really helped her, but it helped me more than anything to have her in my arms all nite. She is sitting in my lap as I type. I am waiting to get her blood work back today.

Any way, I sure hope YOU GO WITH OFFICER NICKERSON!!!!!!!!!! Do not stand for anything else, without you he can screw the whole thing up, so you have to put your foot down and be strong. You have to see the dog to ID it, remember, they do not have to let you in the house, even if you hear a dog barking, please go back and memorize the posts that Galatea posted, and make sure you follow her instructions to the tee. If you see the dog in the living room, you must see it, than the officer can ask to Id the dog. If you see him in the yard, you can ask to ID the dog, since she doesn't have a yard, and their is probably no way to see him from the door. I highly suggest you beg officer Nickerson to get a search warrent, he is the only one who can get one. Without one, I do not see how you can ID ZEKE as even if he is barking,, and you do not see him, that will keep you from getting to ID him, and if this gets screwed up you can kiss ZEKE goodbye forever, I can not tell you how important it is to get a search warrent before you go, not after. After will be too late, you can say you saw her go into the apt. with ZEKE, and you know it is your dog. Anything to get that search warrant. I don't thing the judge will give you one on the say so of a child. His dad did not say that the dog the grandmother looked like ZEKE. So if you ever need to get this right it is now. The Dad can refuse to let the officer question the child, than where are you. Please Maureen go through the post that Galatea
told me while on line, it is the law, and she knows the law, and you have to know it also so this is not blown. You must see ZEKE in the lady's house, he can bark all he wants, without you seeing him she does not have to bring him to the door to be identified. YOU have to see him and ID him. If it is an apartment, I suggest you go over to any of them and see where the door is and if they have a window that you could look in. And do not go to the lady's address, look at the layout of another appt. You do not want to give yourself away. Shoot this is too important. I have to call you.

I'm anxiously waiting to see what has happened with the officer today. Just said a prayer that it is Zeke and Maureen is able to hold him in her arms again tonight.

I just PM'ed you, please get ahold of Galenta, so you can feel her in, and make sure you listen to her advise, she should get in touch with Officer Nickerson, before you do. Set up a time that she can go with you, she is brilliant, and can speak in terms the officers will listen to her. She will be instrumental in getting the search warrents, he will listen to your lawyer probably before he will listen to you, she is a proffecional and he will know how serious you are if you have a lawyer this time. This will also give you a lot of support in your time of need. She has offered several times, it is critical that you get in touch with her before you talk to Officer Nickerson, should Officer Nickerson call you first, please give him Galenta, your lawyer's contact number, and ask him to contact her prior to you too getting together, and please leave a message for Galenta to get back together with you before you talk to Michael Nickerson. This is very important Maureen, please know how serious this is in getting the search warrant and have her behind you!!!!! I will make Michael Stand Up and Pay Attention!!!!!!!! She knows the lingo, so please sweet girl, get this all linned up.

You need to get ahold of Galenta before Michael does so you can fill her in on every detail, then she is the one to talk to the officer not you. You can go with the Officer, and a Spanish speaking officer to ID your dog, once the search warrant is in place. You will not have the power that Galenta will to get the search warrant from the Judge. These are very important steps, so please know it is important to follow them if you want the best chance of getting ZEKE back!

Lori, That may have gone right over my head! Thank you for your kind works. I am feeling pretty good, however a little scared, as I would like for Maureen to fill in Galenta first, than have Michael Nickerson contact Maureen's Lawyer Galenta, I think the Officer will take this much more seriously when he knows you have a lawyer this time to make sure things get done as they should get done and in the proper order. So if you talk to Maureen, tell her to talk to Galenta first, than she will instruct her on how to handle things, Officer Nickerson should than contact Galenta, after Maureen has filled her in, and than Galenta will be up to date, and Maureen will be on the same page as Galenta, instructing her how to handle everything. Don't forget the Spanish speaking officer, that is a must, this is not the time to have a communication breakdown. Of course I am on pin and needles as I am so afraid Maureen will talk to officer Nickerson before Galenta, and if that happens we could be screwed, he needs to know we have a lawyer on board, if we are going to be able to convince a judge to issue 3 warrants, without Galenta that is just not going to happen, and without the warrants that can only be issued by the police, it is possible you may not get the oppertunity to ID Zeke even if you can hear and reconize his bark. We have gotton this far, we can't afford to blow it now. So Plllllllllllllease Maureen call and leave a message for Galenta to call you back, she is on trail today, so you will have to be paitent, you must talk to her first, second she must contact Officer Nickerson on your behalf, or Officer Nickerson is to contact her on your behalf. I hope I have made myself clear, I think I have repeated my self so many times that I am sure you understand the importance of taking these steps in order to have the best chance of getting Zeke home this weekend or Monday!!!!!!!!

If he is just not answering your calls...dial *67 (star 67) and it will block your number if he has caller id. Or you could try having someone else call and be anonymous not saying what they are calling about in case he is trying to be mean and avoid your calls. That way he wont think it is you calling about his help and he might return that call if he is in. I dunno how he is...just a suggestion. Lol. ;)

Hi guys, have just returned from dinner with friends (10.57pm here) He is a vet and they are both besotted with animals, the conversation all night revolved aroud Yt and my friends in the USA.! I must be making an impression with Hubby as he knew almost as much as me bout YT and Zeke!. Sorry If I'm rambling, the more I spoke about Zeke ( as if he is MY dog) the more red wine I drank!. I am sooo excited , we (you) are getting close, I am so scared, it HAS to go well!

Phew ! I am beside myself, you have no idea how this Zeke thing has affected me. I fell so close to you and all your Yorkies. I have noticed that I love my Coco & Coffee even more lately ( if that's possible)

As I was telling them about you ladies, and what you do for each other I had tears streaming down my face. My friends understand me, but the other people in the restaurant !!??
Who cares - I want Zeke to come home.
