| Any idea what this baby might be? **LONG, lovely story** So there is a long story behind this puppy... to make it short... My mom and her hubby has to come up here to NH from NM on friday because his cousin's wife is dying. She is not even 50 years old and cancer just ravaged her body. She got diagnosed in Feb, and now its just a matter of days/weeks at this point My mother and her husband are DEVASTATED! My mom cannot stop crying! So yesterday she brings her Shih Tzu to get groomed before they come home with her on friday. While at the groomers, a man came in with a little baby, a tiny little blackish dog. My mom said she looked at the baby and they made eye contact and for some reason my mom asked the guy if she could hold her. She said the little girl curled into her neck and cuddled right up to her and my mom fell in love with her in a SECOND! So the guy says to my mom "I was away on a business trip, i came home and my wife cleaned out the house, filed for divorce and left me with the 3 dogs. I travel all the time and she needs so much attention, I can't take care of her. Do you WANT her?" My mom immediately said yes (even though she never wanted another dog) so the guy is going to keep her until my mom gets back from her visit here, and then this little girl is hers!!! I told my mom to name her Princess Di (the friend/cousin who is dying is named Diane and this little girl is sooooo going to be my moms princess.. I just know it) well my mom was like ' aaahhh i dont know... ' she was not too thrilled with the name. So she called her friend and told her friend the story of the puppy and how she thinks this little gift was a gift to her for all shes gone through this past year and asked her friend what she should name her. Her friend said "how about Princess Di' well that was it... my mother, bawling her out, settled on the name. This little girl IS a gift... from somewhere! This was meant to be! My mom has a Shih Tzu who is very independant and not cuddly at all. This little baby is going to be my moms best friend and companion. I just know it! The only thing we know about her, from the guy, is that his wife got her from a breeder (in New Mexico) and he didnt know what kind of dog bc there were a bunch of little dogs in the house. She is 1 years old, weighs no more than 4lbs tops, and she is up to date on her vacs and grooming. The guy was kind to the dog, just didnt have time. He let her sleep with him every night. Anyways, here is Princess Di! Does anyone know what she looks like? She is DEFINATELY part Yorkie! I think she is a Yorkie Poo. (the stupid place cut her to look like a schnauzer, she is not that at all) To me it sounded as if the woman breed designer dogs. Let me know what you think. Thanks for getting this far!!!

| What a nice story. I think it was fate that your mom was meant to get this dog. OMG she sounds like such a sweetheart. I truly believe as you said that this little girl is a GIFT from somewhere. Please keep us updated on this very nice heartwarming story. Your mom is in for many, many years of doggie hugs & kisses from this girl. Thanks for sharing.

| that is a great story. i love when people and pets come together in such a touching way. i would guess part yorkie, part schnauzer. maybe poodle but i'm leaning more toward the schnauzer because of the coloring and coat texture. it is hard to tell in pictures but whatever she is, she is 100% cute!!! keep us updated...I would love to hear more

| Yeah it is a pretty amazing story! I guess my mom can't change her name though so her name is MiMi. She knows her name. I wish I could see her but my mom lives in New Mexico! She just looks like a doll to me! I know shes not the most beautiful dog in the world... but she has the sweetest little face and personality! I know my mom is in love!

| My sister has a yorkie-poo. They look very similar in coloring and the face. She looks like a sweet girl. How lucky that the man came upon your mom. Looks like Princess Di found your mom, instead of the other way around! Best wishes for a happy future together.

| What a wonderful story! She is a princess! I was going to say yorkiepoo also, but because of the cut it is hard to tell. She is a doll though! |
