neighbours Thankyou so much to everyone for all your support. It is overwhelming to say the least. My husband confronted them with choice words 2x yesterday and they were just abusive and felt that they were justified because Zeus barked.you are right-I should,ve have not left him out alone. I have done a report to the manager of the company that owns this property among many. My husband is one of the supers of the complex and our neighbour is one of the workers as well. They are very unreasonable people and not approachable at all. There is a long history to them.I,ll keep everyone posted. if only I lived close to some of you. Linda. |

Gramma3 , I am having the same problem with my neighbour so I feel for ya.This woman has already filed a complaint against me with the city for Remy barking. But she has made a career out of harassing her neighbours for just about everything you can think of, so I not the only one she has targeted. If you can afford a tall privacy fence do that ,in the meantime dont leave your baby out alone. Most of the neighbours around us have put up tall fences because of this woman and when I can afford it I will be doing the same,She is not going to force ME to move or to stop me enjoying my yard Eileen:mad: |
Oooh..I am so mad for you! I would be so pissed if someone turned a hose on my dog!! First of all it's your yard and your dog, and it's not like you just leave him out there to bark all the time. I would have called the police or something - I would think that harming your dog on your property would be breaking some kind of law. Plus, they have no idea what goes into bathing, brushing, and grooming these dogs and to just wet one down like that - could have caused a huge ball of matts...yuck. I love your idae of having a ton of yorkies (or any kind of dogs) over to your house for a nice BBQ outside. Bug the hell out of them until they move (just make sure your baby is safe). |

When Sophie was a wee pup, I moved into a garden apartment where she was able to walk freely in the enclosed backyard. She was learning to be protective, barked at the fence line and the neighbor also turned the hose on her. I went out and told him, "don't ever do that again to my dog". She was always scared of the sprinkler/hose after that episode, and I think people are such morons to empower themselves in that manner. How uncomfortable you must feel to even go outside yourself. PS Months later the moron wanted to know if I would go out with him. My reply - NO He moved and we were grateful. |
neighbours Thanks again everyone for your support. The neighbours received a letter from management today. I had my husband walk me to our door from the parking lot as they both have very volatile tempers. I will let the dust die down a little and then Zeus and I are going to start enjoying our backyard again. The grandchildren and my dtg. will be living on the property in July and I want them to enjoy the backyard as they will be in an apt. My little Zeus is lying beside me and is the apple of my eye. Regards Linda. |

What sad people they must truely be. One house I lived in, the neighbors had a toy poodle that would come into MY driveway and bark at me when I came home. He even would follow me into my house while barking at me on occassion. Most days I found him comical and others I found it extremly frustrating. But I never did or would have done anything to him other than to tell him to go home on the bad days and on the good days you'd find me explaning to Buster that this was MY house and the other folks moved. I can't imagine how miserable a person has to be in their lives that they are so hurtful and hateful.:( |
Some nasty folks! Thank goodness I have great neighbors who can't complain because they also have dogs and they are all barking together:cool: |

My :twocents: , Since your neighbors already've got a letter from management, their hateful feelings can start to boil and they can try to really hurt your furbaby - like putting poison in a piece of meat and throw it in your yard... I don't know... maybe I'm going nuts and over suspicious, but anyway, please don't let your furkid go out w/o you beeing right there in the yard w/ him... I'm not trying to scare you, but poisonning animals is a common thing over here where I live... too sad!:( :thumbdown |

I was just going to post saying please don't leave your furbaby to do potty alone. I would never leave him alone outdoors even for a minute. I agree with the above. These people are capable of doing anything and with no guilt! |

Yeah, and I would check the yard before letting him run loose for any suspicious thing on the ground... "Haters" over here, also use broken glass to put on meat balls... it's soo awfull.... usually the animal doesn't make it to the hospital... grrrrr...  |

Yeah, I know!!! I get so disgusted w/ this sick behavior of some ppl...  And worried at the same time... |
My parents used to live in Hollywood and had to move because of their neighbors. My parents have a german shephard that only barks when he sees a squirrel or the mail man or something like that - does not bark all the time but the problem was that the man who lived below them was a writer and he wrote in the night and slept during the day so whenever the dog barked at a squirrel he called them or the police. They had a lot of squirrels in their yard and on their avocado trees. They finally moved because they were harassed so much. Some neighbors can be so rude!!!! It wasn't their fault the guy chose to sleep in the day when the animals are out playing! |
They turned a hose on him??? Oh man, I would be furious if someone did that to Jake. I'd be going over there and having a talk with them! |

neighbours Hi everyone Thankyou again for all you support.WE,re letting the dust die down a little with our neighbours and have not had Zeus out too much in the backyard. We did not see the letter that management sent but know that we will have backup if even one thing is said to us. I spoke with the neighbours across the hall and he did say that Zeus is barking more when someone goes by in the hallway as we are right by the front entrance. It was said in such a nice way and we are trying Zeus downstairs in the family room when we are gone. We leave the TV on and have his toys available. I am going to set up a nice little area for him. I still like the sounds of a barbeque where all are Yorkies would be there-if only we were closer. Have a good day everyone and thanks again. Linda.:animal36 |
Turned the hose on your baby? I think if that had been Shooter or Em that neighbor would have had the biggest enema ever. |
