Yes I do! I can't just leave him like that! But, I do wash and wash and wash my hands after that! lol

My baby doesn't just lick my nose, he enjoys lodging his narrow little tongue up there, and he's so fast that even if I didn't want him to I wouldn't be able to react in time. Sweet little guy I just love him! I too, am guilty of all of those things, but he's my baby and he can do whatever he wants cuz he's perfect!! haha

LOL, I love this one..I just woke up to both of mine having a 15 minute licking session all over my face and when the girls spend the night,(Dori and Maggie) I have four, if anyone walked in the BR, they would think they all four were performing doggy CPR...teehee.... We share one ice cream cone, food off of my fork, drinking out of my glass, sleeping on my pillow, yes with little butts all over where my face lays..they are just as clean as I am. I do try and be more conscientious with company if they arrive and don't partake immediately with our greeting system...(tolerating at least 5 licks in the mouth):D We've been practicing the "Yorkie Way" for 3 1/2 years and haven't gotten sick once;) Just think of it as strengthening ones immune system....Yorkie vitamens

I found out that my husband puts our Yorkie on the dining room table to attach her leash. He doesn't like to bend over to do it.;)

My hubby and I are so guilty of all of this! I will say I have always been this way but before getting Meeka my hubby never had a dog so he never understood me. To him a dog was a DOG! It took him about one day to find out Yorkies are not DOGS. So I tried to contain myself so that I didnt gross him out, but he was the one that started let her eat after him and drink his drink! Oh and Meeka gives me kisses when I get home for about 2 mins but when daniel gets there she goes to town for like 10 mins! I love it! Daniel lets her lick candy and then he pops it in his mouth all the time!

Oh yeah! This is great to hear! Im not the only one! I am guilty of petting while cooking and not washing hands (only if the food is for me only), oh yeah, and grooming/haircuts on the counter (I wash it after)! Letting them lick popsicles, ice cream that Im eating, and drinking out of my cup. I also have one that sleeps under the covers and one that sleeps on the pillow too! What is funny about that is I hate going to bed with dirty feet, I think its gross (yes my friends make fun of me) so I wash my feet before I go to bed everyday... yet I let my dog who probably stepped in his own poop go under the covers and sleep there all night! :D :D :D

Ive had to take them into the shower while Im showering to clean them. Ive had to pull poop off with bare hands (definate scrubber after that). I think nothing of scraping off eye gunk with my fingernails either.

What I TRY not to allow is too many facial kisses! I am having skin problems for the first time in my life and Im afraid its from little tounges going to town... so ive cut back on letting them bathe my entire face! But they always kiss me right on the lips!!! Its soo funny! :D

Me too. I get a tissue & clean them up. One time I went to get the dingle berry off, & I kept pulling & pulling. Max had gotten into daddy's waste basket in bathroom. He ate his dental floss. I wash my hands everytime when I have to clean their bottoms. Other than that, I'm guilty of sharing kisses & food. I have even eaten some food off their plate to get them started. They always want what mommy eats. I home cook. Their kibbles were too dry. LOL

Im going home and telling my hubby you all do what I do too! SOme he does (most of it) but the bare hand thing....no dont think so. I she him in the yard with her lil but proped upa nd a stick going at it...I got mad last time ...I said what the heck would you like to bend over and see me going at YOUR butt with a stick?????? He better start bare handing it or else.....lmao

Actually, I have been wondering about this for a while now..Is it possible for our babies to ''spread'' or ''carry'' germs (i.e., flu virus, cold, etc)..

for instance, if my friend is sick and my Daisy manages to ''kiss'' her and then later on ''kisses'' me, will she then transfer the germs to me?

also, can my Daisy catch it and get sick too?

..just wondering...

Haha I don't even know what dog germs are. I share everything with my babies, assuming it won't harm them of course. From popsicles, to fruit, to pieces of bread or chicken. I try not to let my family or fiance see me sharing my ice cream or drinks with them, as they would say "EWW THAT'S GROSS"..lol...but kisses we all share all the time. I also take bubble baths with my babies. When I'm in a bubble bath, sometimes they just jump in with me :p and we splash around in there together. It's fun..hehe. Good thing I'm not the only "GROSS AND CRAZY" one here..lol

I'm not sure if she can be a virus carrier, but I'm pretty sure that she can't get sick from a human virus. There was a thread on this before. I'll try to find it.
