Hmmmm... I suggest you open the fridge door, the cupboard you keep the treats in and go straight into Tinks create... for at least 6 hours... I'll send Mitzi over to help Tink with the more difficult tasks when it comes to open boxes and packages... THAT'LL TEACH YOU!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 |
So has Tink totally forgiven you? I bet she's forgotten all about it already. I really do think it was harder on you knowing you couldn't get to her fast enough then it was on Tink...do you think she can tell time...did she really know how long she was alone? I'd bet money that she slept right thru it all...and was just so very happy to see you...when you were finally able to get home...Hugs to you both! |
aww, she knows you're a good mommy and she loves you giving you thousands of kisses. Look at the second quote in my sig ;) |
You're a good Mommy, you chose to rush home as soon as you were on dry land. She's okay, and she knows you love her. |
don't be upset! i have to leave my little coco from 7am to 4:30pm every day :( |
I know exactly how you feel!! I had a similar situation happen w/my yorkie poo boy Bentley when I first got him.. I had made arrangements for someone to come over to my home about 2 hours after I headed to a friends party at an amusement park. They were to stay with him, walk him, ect... and they had an emergency and just didn't come! I felt bad about the emergency they had going on, but they could have at least called to tell me. To say the least, I didn't trust them after that point anymore and my poor boy was in his crate nearly 9 hours :(. I felt terrible and apologized a million times, but he was no worse for the wear <3 You did the best you could, it's okay! :) |
Come talk to me when you forget your child in his car seat on your kitchen floor when you are leaving to go to the grocery store.....lol I only made it a block or 2, but wow did I feel horrible! Your fur baby is fine and spend your time lovin on her instead of feeling guilty! Take Care. |
Awwwwwwww you are NOT a bad mommy! Everyone is ok now and she LOVES you!!!!! |
Thanks everyone for the kind words and support. You are right - she is just fine and I really don't think she does remember. Except, when it was time to go to church this morning, she WOULD NOT go in her crate. I had to chase her all over til I finally caught her in the bathroom and stuffed her in it. She looked at me and I felt like she was saying "Yeah, how long this time?!" But when I got home 2 hrs later, she was sleeping on top of her stuffed puppy. If nothing else, I learned that she really can hold her tinkle as long as she want to. |
aww you are not a bad mommy. Tink probably was sleeping the entire time and didn't realize how long you were gone. Sure she had to potty but she's a good girl and held it. :) she's probably forgotten all about it by now |
YOU ARE A GOOD MOMMY!!!!!!!!!! TINK LOVES YOU!!!!!!!!!! You had all your bases covered.............it was't your fault! All is well in Tinkerbrat Land!!:D |
Oh you are not awful! They forgive us for all our short comings! Like forgetting to check keys! Or in my case, cutting his leg with the scissors when trying to cut a mats out! :) Alls well that ends well! Tinks lucky to have a mom so dedicated to her! (after just reading another post by someone I wont name, you are the best mom in the WORLD) |
Oh Dear, it's ok, it's happened to one or all of us at one point or another, I can definitely say it's happened to Vinnie once. Things happen, life is unpredictable but they love us unconditionally, as you saw when you got 1,000 kisses. Give her lots of extra kisses! |
AWE! Don't worry! I'm sure she just slept the whole time you were gone anyway! Some days Hootie and Hobbs are left in their crate from 8:15am-5:15pm with no problems at all. |
