| Hi there! Welcome to yorkietalk! Any chance you can show off a few pictures of your new baby? We love pictures! Whats his name? Sometimes you need to help the ears stand by shaving and taping them.

| Welcome to you and your new baby!!! Some times their ears are already standing up at 9 weeks...other times they need some coaxing...taking the hair off the tops and taping...even a little massage can help. There's really no set time...but I would think by the time it's 6 months old, if they're going to stand up they will, but I love floppy eared Yorkies, there's nothing wrong with that!!!

| Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member  | Welcome to YT...some yorkie's ears will stand up by itself...while others you may have to guide...you can do that by shaving the top 1/3 of the ears and then taping it up ... also massaging the ear will help get the blood flowing...hope that helps!
