| ![]() Is Nutro ultra puppy kibble good? I've been feeding Innova and got some samples of the Nutro and Lola loves it. I just want to feed her the best I can find around my small town. She seems to get board with her food after a month or so, and I thought if I could find something she really liked I could have a little variety. |

| ![]() I fet it to Gracie for quite a while and she loved it. However, when the recall hit I stopped feeding Nutro. I don't feed anything that has grain fillers like wheat or rice gluten. I pretty much only feed Merrick now.

| ![]() I have never used Nutro, but I really like (so do the pups) Nutro Source small breed puppy. The kibble is the smallest I have found, next would be Iams Eukanuba samll breed puppy. Great for first feedings!! Then I go to Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul, small breed also. I just bought a bag of Blue Buffalo puppy, but the kibble is too large for tiny puppies to start with. My adults like it though.LOL Lynn |

| ![]() can you post the first 5 ingredients? What is the protein content? The first few ingredients should be some sort of meat, or protein. And protein content should not exceed 28% or so. IMO. Anyhow, in general, nutro is pretty decent food.

| ![]() Why don't you try something like Canidae? That seems to be a well-liked food on this forum. I know too many people whose dogs died or became very ill while eating Nutro when those recalls were happening.

| ![]() I live in a small town, so its not easy at all to get food. I thought the recalls were on canned food.???? I dont give canned anything because of it. The Nutro Ultra is the most expensive of the Nutro food and it says it is holistic. Which to me is better ( but what do I know) I'm trying to learn all of this. |

| ![]() www.canidae.com and go to store locator...That should help you find a store in your area that sells it. If not, then you may have to purchase it online at a place like www.petfooddirect.com ![]()
