Yes, I will be at the vet's in less 2 hours, and YES, i'm counting! I can't wait to just see him, I will feel so much better!!! Thanks to everyone again! |
I've been waiting to read a post about your baby. Did you get him home OK and is he glad to be in his own little bed? Let us hear how he is doing! |
Vinnie Came Out Kissing! :aimeeyork My little Vinnie, now known as my little Casanova came out kissing, haha. He would whimper until one of the nurses would come over and all he wanted to do was kiss them! That's my baby, he also had big kisses for mommy and daddy when we got there! He did wonderful and he's so glad to be home, but I think we're more glad just to have him home! He wouldn't eat while he was there but he ate a ton last night. I missed him but i'm glad they kept him tuesday night, i would not have been able to handle seeing him in pain. I'm so glad it's over and I want to thank everyone for all of their prayers, kind words and thoughts and for keeping me sane the past 3 days without him, it was not easy! Please continue to pray for Thea and her baby Roxee who is being spayed today as well as eringabrielle and her baby Willow who is also being spayed today, and also for Ceiba's Mom and Ceiba who was spayed tuesday, we want little Ceiba to have a speedy recovery, and also pray for Maria and her baby Boo-Boo who had surgery 2 weeks ago that everything continues to go well. Please keep us updated!!! :aimeeyork |
Awww, you are so wonderful. You're right, everyone on here has been keeping me sane. Glad little "Casanova" is doing well. Please give him a few more kisses from the girls in Louisiana (Roxee and I). I will keep you updated on my little Rock star! Thea |
Wound opening up Last nite before I put Ceiba to bed, her incision looked just fine - no redness or swelling. This morning, she must've been feeling especially well because she was running and playing (hard!) with her brother. I kept trying to keep them calm but those 2 are inseparable! So as I was leaving for work, I checked her wound and it appears to have opened up slightly. There was a little teeny bit of blood. I have a decent sized gated area where the 2 stay during the day, so I put Ceiba's crate in there and crated her in. Her brother was with her, just not in the crate. Hubby is going home for lunch to check up on her. I think she's ok, but aside from redness or swelling, are there any other big red flags I should watch out for? (I really am trying to keep her calm but she is hard headed!) |
Ceibas mama, I am so sorry. I hope that she is ok. Sometimes these little ones are tough to keep still. Please keep us posted on her. Thea and roxee |
