| Administrator | Embedded pictures using the IMG tag will no longer work on our forum. If you want to add a picture to your post, please add it as an attachment. (See directions here). This was done for a variety of reasons, including: - Many users are still using dial-up modem to connect to the Internet, and embedded images take far too long for them to download. It is much simpler for people to see a thumbnail then choose themselves if they want to open up a larger version of the picture or not. - We have started seeing quite a few instances where the hosted images do not work. This is quite annoying and frustrating to people. Long-term, more and more pictures hosted at other places will not work, and a red X will be in its place. Pictures that are attached to posts will ALWAYS work without fail. - Some of the images that have been embedded in posts are EXTREMELY large. The largeness screws up the format of the YorkieTalk thread as well as unnecessarily tie up a member's Internet connection. You can still use the IMG tag, but a link will show in its place. Again, using thumbnails will be more beneficial to all members. Old posts with pictures embedded will just show a link to the image. |

| That's a little disappointing. I spent most of the day uploading pictures to Photobucket. I wanted to show off Maggie in a bigger form like some of the other members. I was just getting ready to do that, when my mountains were gone, on the New Post.
