Hubby wanted me to ask if Nicky had a new name:confused: ?
Also, did the $ include any frontline or heartguard for the future or did they just purchase 1 dose. If they bought full packages they should have come home with him you paid for it.
I also want to say that I can't imagine the pain that you must have been in while he was gone. You do need to rest and we all are thanking God that he's been returned to your arms.

You might think im wrong, but I think you should be grateful you got nicky back in the first place and not angry at these people. At the end of the day they could have kept him and not bothered putting flyers up at all.
Glad to see him back home, but as I said, You should be eternaly thankful, and stop complaining about them.

I am so glad you got your little boy back. I have lost my dog, albeit it for a few minutes and I was a wreck!! Thank god those people stop to get your pup or god only know what could have happen. I am going to get my GiGi microchipped asap!! My mosheh already is! I dont know what I would do if I found a yorkie, I would secretly be trying to keep them!!! At least they put up a flyer!! I would be whispering around that I found a yorkie!!! NO seriously, Congrats. I am sure he is so glad to be home with his mama!!

Found your thread and so glad he was found. It does appear they were planning on keeping him. Who in their right mind would think a dog of this type and in good condition doesn't have a home? I hope all of the shots, etc., didn't cause him illness. Bottom line, I am glad he is home and they were nice to him.

I can't tell you how lucky you are to have your baby back, and in less than 48 hours, I would try to be a positive as you can and grateful as heck that you were able to get your little one back, unharmed, it could have been so different, so be grateful, thank the Lord for answering your prayers, and be positive about everything, you have a happy ending and that is all that matters, with all of Yorkie Talk praying for you and behind you in anyway anyone could help from afar. What could have been did not happen, so forget about it and move forward, it is not good to hold negitive feelings, it brings more negitive things ito your life.

Thank God you got him back safely home. I know you are upset about the $178, but please just be thankful that you got him back. I once lost a beautiful Shepard mix dog and never got him back. He ran off while a friend was dog sitting him. I always wonder what happened to him. The money you lost is a small price to pay for the love of your baby back. God Bless You and I am so happy for you.

This is great news that he is HOME!!! I personally would be so grateful that these people took time to take him to the vet and took the time to post a poster!!! It is odd that they took him to the vet but they could of done a LOT worse. (they could of kept him) I personally would of paid the vet bill with no hesitation. The fact that he is home and safe....is worth far more than the vet bill!!! So if I were you, I would forget the vet bill and just enjoy having your baby home!!! Again, so happy for you!!! Lots of hugs and kisses for him!!!

I don't get why they would take him to the vet and do all that stuff but then post a flyer. Why even bother posting the flyer. I am so happy for you and your family that Nicky is back in your arms.:)

LOL Yes, they first were calling him Corky and then Peanut. Peanut is on the paperwork from the vet. The frontline and heartguard were full boxes and yes, that all came home with us. I have to say, I think they were honest people that, as someone said in and earlier post, thot a Yorkie from heaven had dropped in their laps.

He hasn't gotten very far from me since he got home. I think that even tho the people were kind to him, he was very frightened. I am glad he's home, safe and hope he gets to feeling secure again very soon.

I know I never would have seen my baby again if it hadn't been for all the prayers said for him. Thank you, all of you for the prayers. Sylvia

LOL I know exactly what you mean. But my honest streak wouldn't allow me to not try my very best to find his/her proper home. I have wanted a Yorkie since I was 15 years old and since I first got Pirogue, I can't believe what I have missed for all these years. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I just took a Yorkie and kept silent. But, my goodness, wouldn't I have celebrated if no one ever claimed him/her. LOL

Thank you, I am trying so hard to just get over it. It's dead and done and of no possible use to me so I am trying so hard to forget my anger. I think I'm doing it. It still cropped up twice today and I have to stop myself and think what could have happened and forget it.

I know he would not have come home and I would never have known if he was safe or not if it hadn't been for all the prayers made for him. God Bless Each and Everyone of You. Sylvia

Hmmm, made me realize that maybe I should explain why the money makes me angry, other than that they did it so very quickly.

We are totally broke. All our money for this month has be slotted for bills, we had no extra and that money dipped into our grocery money. We will be alright and I would pay it again and again to have Nicky safe. Sylvia
