Great to hear you are getting your new little guy on Friday!! I love the name Mulligan, sounds more boyish to me - probably because I have a niece named Piper. I do like the sound of the two names together :D - Congrats & look forward to lots of pics!

I vote for Mulligan! Piper reminds me too much of a little girl, but it is cute!

Your new little guy is a prince, totally adorable!! I like Piper Mulligan but if you can only choose on, I'd choose Piper.

How about Ace?
 
Hey, been thinking about you today and the name Ace came 'out of the blue' :p It covers both golfing and planes and it's cute yet masculine. You could name him Ace Mulligan Piper or Ace Piper Mulligan!

Thanks Windy for the Ace idea! You're right, it would work great for both "favs." Will run it by the husband and daughter and see what they say. I like them all together too. Will let you know what we decide!

Hi Laura! Actually my husband did fly. He went to flight school and has his pilot's license. He hasn't flown for several years now, since before we met, so he needs about 60 hours flight time to get recertified. It's one of the things we hope to accomplish once I go and finish law school and we have the extra money. He wishes we had a Piper or any other kind of plane for that matter. He loved flying and misses it very much!! I hope to be able to fly with him someday :hug:

Congratulations on your new baby! I am so glad you found him, I really like both names they are such great choices. If you havent decided yet, maybe you can wait till he comes home and try the names out on him to see what fits. You'll have to come post as soon as you bring him home, we're all excited for you :D

I also think Piper sounds like a girl, couldn't have anything to do with "Charmed" could it?

Now Mulligan on the other hand, hmm, don't really care for it or the shorter versions BUT ligan - as in Le Gan, sort of like Logan? Oh!!! how about Ace Le Gan? Of course that would be his nick name and Ace Mulligan on his papers.

I like it, but I am strange sometimes. Ha, ha.

You are most welcome! I was telling my hubby about you and your new pup an that you were looking for a name and suddenly 'Ace' just popped up in my head. He suggested I tell you about it because we started talking what ace means. Top Dog! High Card! The Best! Perfection! and I dunno, it seemed like a cool thing. Can't wait until you get him!

Wow, your new baby is soooo cute! I'd say Mulligan - but then again, I'm not sure. How about Mulligan Piper??? lol. Well, maybe you should go for Piper - it's shorter and easier for him to understand, isn't it?
